Wow, I take it back. The hair looks on par with the HT's. But the head is Wayyy better. No more young Tom Cruise Luke Skywalker now. :rock

I think that you've captured Mark's likeness, but the end of his nose is too pointed. Mark's nose curved more at the end towards his philtrum ( recess between the nostrils and the lips). That for me is throwing the likeness off from the side. Looking forward to putting him next to his old buddy Han.

Paul, you might be right. Could you circle it in the ref pics you posted?
I was looking at the side profile and noticed something but couldn't exactly point it.

I think the sculpt looks absolutely spot-on from the front, Jnix, but to my eye the lower half of his face looks a little too elongated when viewed in profile, as if he's just about to go wolf! I think a very slight tweak, probably to the nose as others suggest, will make this sculpt pretty much perfect. Great work as always Jnix :clap

Yeah, I was actually just looking at this exact shot. I think the nose (and so consequently the mouth/chin) are a bit too elongated in the profile.

No conclusion from these yet, but I think it may be closer to right than I thought. It could be the lighting. However, the second shot below is a full side view and the sculpt shot it's compared to is a slight turn. The profile outline matches very well here (green line), but if it's turned completely to profile it might be too long. Or it may be that the eye is set too far back. Or neither! Not sure. I had a couple doubts about the Han sculpt though as well and after it was painted...they were fairly unfounded!

Let's not panic and throw wolf comparison pics here, guys :lol
Let's wait till Jnix post the painted sculpt of the head, then decide whether you are in or out. Please respect the artist, I'm sure he tried his best in giving the best likeness. And I think at this point, I don't think there will be anymore revisions made.
I personally think it looks great and am keeping my order.

I have the utmost respect for Jnix as both an artist and a stand-up guy, and I am 100% keeping my order for this sculpt.
I just wanted to add a teeny tiny bit of constructive criticism, that's all. Jnix seems like the kind of guy who respects his customers and is open to their honest views on his work. Can't wait to receive my sculpt!:yess:
