I apologise to anybody, especially Jnix himself, who may have been offended or upset by my post. It was certainly meant with the best of intentions and wasn't meant to cause any harm in any way whatsoever. I just want us all to get the most perfect ANH Luke sculpt we can and thought that my comparison may help Jnix to see something that he might not have noticed previously. It seems I may have inadvertently mid-judged the situation...

As previously stated though, I have already paid for my sculpt and I'll still be completely happy with it if it comes to me exactly as shown, with no further revisions. It looks absolutely perfect from a front-on view and that is how I will be displaying him anyway.

Timemeddler is a fellow member of a one sixth Star Wars collectors Facebook page, and although I don't know him personally, what I do know is the pedestal he has put Jnix on with regards to his artistry.
I have no doubts whatsoever any malice was intended, nor offense to be caused.
He's always spoken of Jnix in the highest regard, and the amount of pictures he's taken of the Han sculpt borders on fanatical, as is his enthusiasm to the artist who created it.

I've just now read through the last few pages and seen the new pics. I agree that there seems to be some elongation with the profile. Looking at the original photo shown, I find it really hard to believe that that is what the sculpt looks like turned. Something isn't right.

Everyone is here because years of collecting have shown us what an incredibly difficult task Jnix has set himself. But there is also a lot of love behind this project and I believe 100% that with a little more time Jnix will crack whatever code is protecting Mark Hamill's likeness from being reproduced perfectly. We've waited forty years, what's a few more days? Go Jnix! Stay on target... stay on target...

Yeah, he managed to get Ford's likeness in one shot which many of the veterans sculptors (Kojun, arnie Kim) failed to do. I think this one would be a home run as well.

I wonder right now the Luke is reasonably priced even on ebay, but when these jinx sculpts start hitting the collectors will the Luke bodies get more harder to find.

I always get a kick how everyone is on pins and needles, tip-toeing around custom sculptors here, superfluously careful to avoid hurting anyone's delicate feel-bads, but when it comes to Hot Toys or Sideshow, it's all pitchforks and torches. As though a sculptor working for a professional company is any less talented or MORE deserving of criticism.

Well it's not like those sculptors are starting the threads and asking for money and posting openly within those threads. It would change things dramatically. We'd have to act like adults all the time.
