I was lucky enough to obtain one of these heads from a nice member of this forum. I wasn't sure about it first but I am really starting to like it. It definitely looks like Luke a lot more than the Zac Effron looking Hot Toys Luke, to me anyway. I am glad I got it. Merry Christmas everybody!

...and that the reason the side looking eye position looks so much better. With the eyes set in the corners of sockets, you can go with significantly smaller irises and it looks perfect.

Wouldn't that also dull his eyes? How would one dull coat this? Any tips would be great.

Yes it would you could either put small bits of masking tape over his eyes or re-gloss them with gloss coat and a small brush

Sounds scary for me, I'll be too scared to screw the whole thing up.

I'll re-coat the eyes afterwards. Do it all the time when I repaint. A few coats and they look great.

I'd actually love to try and reduce the size of the irises too on the sculpt I have where he's looking straight ahead (I bought two from Jnix, one with the eyes looking right) but I'm not sure I'm quite brave enough to attempt that.
