Has anyone done a comparison pic with the HT?

I think it's save to say even without comparison that this is more screen accurate compared to HT ver.

Not the greatest compare for the Jnix sculpt because the size of the photo doesn't quite allow it to line up with the other two, but take it for what it's worth...

My dilema is that the HT sculpt has grown on me to the point where I'm not quite sure I need the upgrade. As always, much depends on what the painted sculpt looks like.

For me, there's some unique quality to Alec's expression (particularly around the mouth) that HT just doesn't approach correctly to be a true "Alec" look. But the Jnix piece hasn't quite sold me in this area either. Shall see...

I agree with QuiGon. HT's sculpt isn't bad to me but they missed that mischievous semi smile Guiness wore most of the time. Jnix looks to have nailed that. It'll be interesting to see this painted.

I'm in the same boat, I don't hate the HT sculpt and it works for Obi-Wan but I may be persuaded if this turns out being an upgrade to the ultimate Old Ben.

I was hoping this would be a bigger leap from the HT one too. For me, there's a few bits that are a tad out - mouth not wide enough, eyes etc. . . After buying Luke, I'm going to take a bit longer comparing photos.

But, it's all very subjective and I'm still looking forward to seeing what jnix does with the paintup.

Jnix has done a good job on this, but I'm quite happy with the HT version. Look forward to seeing it painted and all the pictures people will post

I agree with you two as well. That being said, can't wait to see the final paint up. I think I too have gotten used to the HT that it's difficult (currently) to see the need for the upgrade. I bet/hope seeing the painted version complete will bring out more detail in the Jnix sculpt :yess:

Looks good - a bit thin between the eyes and a bit too thin a mouth like others have said, but undoubtedly better than the Hot Toys sculpt.

I'm the same as a few others; don't dislike the HT that much (not that I disliked the Han either - but how could anyone deny the mastery of Jnix's Han?) to shell-out the bucks for this.

Saying that - let's wait and see the painted version

I'll probably stick with my HT sculpt as I don't mind it too much, but anyone with a SS version should jump on this.
