So glad I ordered, I'm in the camp that thought the HT sculpt was ok. Nothing against HT they make great sculpts but this piece shows just how off the HT version is. Great work Jnix!

Ht's is not a bad sculpt and I've seen it repainted (notably by JazzInc/Joost) to look pretty good. But when you take away any "supporting elements" - clothes/hair style, etc. I don't know how many people would be able to tell the face on the right was Ford/Solo. The left however...that IS Solo/Ford!

It's amazing that a few things; slightly fuller lower lip, slightly pulled back and fuller upper lip, lowered brow, the right angle to the laugh lines - all add up.

The HT sculpt is actually quite good. There is no question at all who he is on display. This is just better...at least from the shots we've seen so far. No sin in the realization that one interpretation can be really good, without necessarily making everything else trash.

While I am went out for weekend, first batch is fully ordered. So I called to the caster imediately to go for 2nd batch right away.

Totally agree. If you trim away the rest of what makes him recognizable as Solo and just zero in on the face, you can see where HT fell short and how good Jnix's sculpt and paint is. I still think that HT's can be improved a bit with better paint, but it still doesn't stack up with Jnix's

Hi guys,

As 1st batch is actually over booked as it happened while a weekend, I will do finish first batch in my reponsibility. The orders on the first batch paid list, I will keep the shipping schedule of 1st batch. Please check the paid list updated today.
and now I am taking payment for 2nd batch based on first come, first served. 2nd batch will be 30 and no more castings in the future.

and somebody who already paid didn`t leave your shipping address, please send me PM as soon as possible. Sometimes paypal doesn`t show your address which you have confirmed.
