I would also be interested on seeing this on the HT body with clothes. As-is, like others, I dig it, but it's not enough to push me over to ordering without more convincing.

I think its the eyes.

He sculpted the brow furrowed, but left the eyes almost fully open. Squinting them a bit more helps improve the likeness, I think.

Yeah I just did a size comparison with both his Han and Officer K sculpts, and both of those are a bit larger than the HT Marty head. So if he sculpted this the same size as his previous heads, then there will definitely be an issue...

What a missed opportunity.

The eyebrows (especially the right one) totally throw it off to me. Honestly the photoshopped variant isn't really any closer. I was really hoping for a proper replacement for the orginal here, but it doesn't look to be that much better. Sorry, but this one is a total miss.

The eyebrows seriously need to be fixed too. His left one is the wrong shape (MJF doesn't have the "people's eyebrow"). Also they are too pronounced. Thinning them out may help.

Also the lips are too big. The lower lip has too much volume. The upper lip has a wrong shape in general (it is a wavy shape, while MJF has almost a "straight curve").
Finally the gab between upper lip and nose is too big (twice as big as it should be).

Jnix's Han Solo, Indy and Obi-Wan are works of art and firm favourites on my shelves, but I'm with others on this one. It's an improvement, but not enough to make me want to sign up.
A bit like Jnix's Luke, this one is good but not great. However, whereas HT's Luke was a travesty and was worth replacing, for me HT's Marty is borderline acceptable.

There are few sculpts on earth I hate more than the hot toys Marty Mcfly sculpt. However part 2 I happen to like a lot and don’t think his hair looks specific enough to be from either film and works for both so I’m pretty happy with that on my v1 Marty.

Which is why I was hoping for a knock out Gosling/Damon/obi wan/ ANH Han type masterpiece to blow away even the Marty part 2 sculpt.

Part of what I hated about the hot toys part one was the expression . That pic everyone posted above there where they both (hot toys and Jnix) clearly referenced is like the first google image thing that pops up. To me it’s not like it’s a defining Marty expression or anything it’s just some random pic of him someone uploaded to google where he has sun in his eyes.

So I was really thinking a new expression can set this apart from the hot toys which is why I was a bit bummed to get the same one.

Marty is a smart boy. Giving him a smirk would have matched better. But apparently it is how it is. I don't think that this head will be revised to my satisfaction and I really don't want to spoil it for the people who buy and look forward to it. :duff

It's a sufficient upgrade from the HT and, as I was relatively happy with that, this will be fine on the shelf.

It was however a little disappointing likeness wise compared to Jnix's previous home runs, as mentioned.
