Literally with pieces of black foam I cut out and put together...on a super cheap looking inner fabric vest. XD The whole thing cost me 10 bucks! It's basically another shirt with velcro on it to close and put the armor pieces on it and painted it.

I'm doing something similar with mine, but am using fake leather. Those templates would have helped.
I need to add more leather pieces, and as I'm building up the white to grey ratio layer by layer, the painting is still a work in progress.
May do a second version later.

I ordered my sculpt yesterday, which is on its way to a painter. I have a body andI just ordered the pants and jacket, all I really need to worry about is the armored vest.

This will be my first custom figure and I can't wait til it's complete.
