Quick question. I'm new to painting. For that shaved head look would it be better to do a black wash or to dust and blend his scalp with pastels?

Either can work but for a shaved head pastels would look nicer, IMHO.


The Bernthal head is back in, unpainted, and is $50 plus shipping ($5 in the US, $14 overseas). We don't sell heads painted only because we can't paint (laugh). But obviously we know tons of painters we can send your head off to once you buy one if you need however. Please PM to order!

Mine came in the mail yesterday. It's a great head! Just started painting today. This is only my second time painting, and first time with an airbrush. But I think it's coming out rather well!

Any of the lines on my pictures are most likely just from bad painting. Like I said, it was my first time with an airbrush.
