Okay so I was doing some research:

Product Dimensions for Standard Road Flare

10.8 x 1.1 inches

Now I scale converted that to 1/6 scale

45.72 x 4.66 mm

Now the smallest watch battery I could find is

4.8 x 1.65 mm 337 SR416SW 8 mAh

So... if you guys wouldn't mind a little oversized in width. Like 5-5.4mm width to compensate a battery operated led lit road flare this is doable. I however am not a electrician so I don't know how many of those watch batteries it would take with a led attachment and the works. Personally I don't know the man enough (had different viewpoints at one time) but maybe Pixelpiper who makes cathode lightsabers on here could be pm'd. I do 3D modeling and making a flare to fit desired batteries would be piece of cake.

I don't mean for this to sound like its going to sound, but you did realize Bravomite contacted me specifically about doing these accessories?

I mean, I'm listed on the front page... and i posted my 3D model/print of the flare already.

:lol No harm no foul bud, I'm JP fanatic so I tend to be extravagant. I can see from what you read that you thought I was impeding but in all honesty I was just stating being a 3D modeler myself making a flare with a width of 5.4mm and hollow for someone like Pixelpiper or the like to make a working version could be done. Not that I would do it... just giving my professional opinion. eace

And you are correct... modeling the flares didn't take me very long. Matter of fact the printing princess took longer than the modelling did.

Raveneye I am really enjoying your enthusiasm and cool suggestions for the light up flare. DoggieDoc is taking the lead on the accessories and some of the insanely cool stuff he accomplished on the T2 and Forrest Gump runs makes me wonder if there is anything he can't make at this scale so please do keep throwing your ideas out there haha.

Thanks for your message Tacoma34 and apologies for any confusion caused. I was primed to send out PMs but had some messages from wiser people on the interest list who have run similar projects mentioning that we would likely convert more interested parties into deposits and entice others to jump on board as well if deposits were collected whilst progress was being made on the sculpt. With that in mind, I've asked Waruna for a rough estimate of when he might be able to begin showing renders (when we spoke earlier in the week he mentioned that he hoped to start working on the sculpt at the end of of the month). Once I've heard back I will have a clearer picture on timing for the sculpt.

That said, I don't want to lose any momentum so I still plan to open the deposits for the clothing run sooner rather than later. I'm leaning towards beginning to collect them in from this weekend and keeping the list open until we have some renders circulating for the sculpt (I'm envisaging hopefully a 6-8 week period to send in the deposits).

Hi RiverWind, thanks for your message. There isn't a separate thread open for the head sculpt yet but there will be one soon.

Update - Sculpt
I've been chatting with Waruna and he has confirmed that his plan is to show the first work in progress pictures at the beginning of April and hopefully complete the sculpt by the end of April.

I've indicated that I would like two sculpt options, one with hat and one without. I would prefer to have a closed mouth neutral expression but I am interested to hear your thoughts.

I'm going to watch JP for research purposes (love an excuse to watch this movie again)!

I will be opening up the deposit list today and will PM everyone on the interest list with details.

I won't be closing the list until 23 May 2018 so there will be a two month window to send them in.
