Hey queromarvel you should update the first page for just full sets and sunohc head sculpts.I think we could start another interest thread for the sword maybe clean it up a little like just put the break down of the outfit and head on the first page with the two list maybe post a link or put some pics up of Daniels Morpheus head so people who haven't seen it know what it looks like.sorry I'm not trying to tell you what to do just suggestions if you need any help with this just let me know just like you I want this very badly

Dude I don't get WTF is going on here.

I started posting my interest in the original Morpheus thread at least 6 months ago. Some people responded to me and I approached other guys that I knew owned one. Back when I was hot on the hunt I spoke to 7 different Morpheus owners and pitched them all prices from $1250-$1500. Most weren't interested in selling at all and the ones that were interested I wasn't interested in their piece because I was specifically looking for one that had both Kato's black shirt & tie (and I prefer the box and COA too but it seems several people don't have theirs).

The point is at 21 (+ the few extra that Daniel mentioned) worldwide we NEVER see this up for sale. Most of the people that I pitched weren't selling no matter what! So what's the problem?!?!?!?! You guys just want to stare at it on your shelf dreaming of what you can get for it on the secondary market but have no real intent to sell??? SUPER SELFISH. Not only to your fellow collectors but to Kato too. Wake up and read his post people...he has a business and wants to sell this but you're stopping him!!!

It's not that I don't get what the original owners are concerned about because I'd want to protect my investment too. BUT YOU GUYS ARE NOT DOING YOUR MATH RIGHT AND ARE NOT THINKING STRAIGHT. This does not effect the value of your sets!

We gave the break down and the Rainman release comparison a bunch of times already. Maybe you need to see the logic in full:

You guys (first owners) paid $750-$820

2nd runners will pay: $700 for the clothes, $40 for the sculpt & shades, $50-$150+ to get it painted; depending who you're taking it to. $80+ for a body ($60+ for a TTM21 and then you'd need hands. $80+ for a TTM15), glocks will MINIMIALLY be $12 each if you're going with official HT. Plus shoes. Then we have the finished sword with an undetermined price. Also a stand and decal if you're into that.

The 2nd runners that are building this up to the highest level and taking their sculpt to the better painters on the board are into this for $1100 RIGHT OUT OF THE GATES!

- The finished product of the 2nd run are all BASHES. There will be similar ones but there will be a variation because of all the different painters that will be used. These will all be perceived accordingly on the secondary market.

-IN TOTAL, THIS WILL STILL BE A SMALLER RUN THAN THE AVERAGE RAINMAN RELEASE

So that will still make these extremely scarce. Instead of NEVER seeing them for sale we'll RARELY see the for sale. The better ones (paint-wise) of the 2nd run bashes will fetch the same ball park prices as the original full sets (people will rate this differently. I price it at +/- double the original full set).

So whether you're someone that originally got in at retail or someone who paid after market value....YOUR INVESTMENT IS SAFE!!!! FREE YOUR MIND!!!!

Anyone who owns an original full set and has a sensible theory that shoots holes in my theory, please step up and share with us. Tell us on the thread what you're so worried about and help us see your side of the story instead of filling up Kato's inbox and making him crazy.

If anyone can do that with solid points I'll be happy to agree and say that I stand corrected.

I think that you are definitely misunderstanding what I'm saying Kato. I'm not arguing with anyone. I'm simply making sense of the situation for all previous owners and people interested in the new run.

Everything I said was to put things in perspective for the V1 owners and put everyone's mind at ease. I'm trying to explain that they have nothing to worry about.

I didn't realize that it was settled and no one has a problem anymore because you said this only this morning:

I can't see the problem...

Sculpt - Unpainted was never limited.
Sword - Done by different Artist.
Outfit - New Design and price increase.
Numbered - No!
Complete Figure - No!

I am just fathomed by people's selfishness with this project when it isn't even the same product, and that majority voice it behind the forums back.

Jesus, this discussion again... Ajkhunter said it all, I really can't understand why all these attempts to sabotage the project... in the past few months I've seen several threads of people making EXACTLY the same thing... a run of similar clothing to try to build a bash of Rainman's figures, mostly. And with the same heads offered by himself.

Just for example, the two that I consider simbolic: The Dude & Bill The Butcher.

These 2 figures were also with limited editions, and their price went to the sky too right after release. And now some guys are trying to get their clothes made to build their own bash of the CHARACTER, not a reissue of the original RAINMAN FIGURES. I'm not sure if I'm getting crazy or what, but seems to be 2 different things here, right?

So, why it has to be different with us? Only because the tailor of the original project was the same, we can't have the same quality? Are we obligated to find a less talented tailor, only because the original limited figure can't have a bash with similar quality? Now, this really looks very selfish.

It's clearly the same situation as many other interest threads, but with a different treatment. Ask anyone with minimum commom sense, and he/she will find it weird too.

I always thought that the figure was limited, not the character. Or that the artists involved on it could never make something related again.

It would actually be easier for me, it's getting quite difficult to coordinate all these pieces, if someone can make a new thread, I would gladly post the link here. In the meantime, I'll continue to manage it.

I can't resist anymore. You know what? Put me on the list for the Morpheus Jacket. I can't afford the rest but the Jacket is the most important key. I also home there can be some kind of payment plan since this project is a good few months away and it will be easier for me to pay Kato like 50usd every month than 300usd at one go.

Levit05 wants the full set minus the leather coat, would you like to see if you can make an agreement with him? I maintain him with the full set, and then he sells the jacket for you. Sounds good? It would be very helpful, since the list is almost entirely for full sets, I took off the separate lists, since everyone was signing for the whole deal.

About the payment plans, that's up to Kato, payments will be sent directly to him, I'll only keep the thread updated with the info.

I have the full Morpheus less the sword which I had to piece together last year since I jumped in late and I don't mind at all that a new set is being offered. In fact I'd like to see the Neo Priest outfit reoffered. And consider this, more owners of those two pieces opens up the possibilities of more Matrix characters . How about Trinity, Twins, Niobe, Persephone, Merovingian? Kato quality outfits would be phenomenal! I'm sure there are a number of top level sculptors who would jump at creating the headsculpts.

One thing about the Matrix trilogy is these costumes make for sick figs!

As much as I want to IDK how much of a completest I'd really end up being. Trinity is a must though. A Kato Trinity outfit would be :drool:drool:drool
