sorry for being so absent on this thread!

the sculpt is still available and it comes with painted black sunglasses that fit the sculpt.
The sunglasses were made by Sean Ho but commissioned by me so I can have more casted.

I can have either WITH NECK or WITHOUT NECK versions made.

Actually, please don't order off of my website right now. Most of the "store" links and paypal buttons are outdated and it may show different prices and inventory than what I actually have.

I'm hoping Queromarvel can update the list for people interested in head sculpts and sunglasses and you guys can send me payment for the heads once the list becomes finalized.

there is something else we need to discuss regarding this Morpheus outfit re-run. I'm hoping KATO can chime in on this one as well:

I've been contacted by some SSF board members who owned the original Morpheus figure, and they are not too happy that there are more Morpheus outfits being made. It was always understood that the unpainted sculpts were not necessarily limited. But the painted versions by Sean Ho were extremely limited for obvious reasons and the full figure as well.

The Morpheus project was indeed a LIMITED EDITION run of 21 pieces worldwide (with signed certificates from all the artists) and though we had some extra pieces made and sold separately, that was because we estimated a larger run and had parts left over.

In Kato's defense,
everything except the Morpheus Jacket will be a new design (purple vest, pants) which makes it somewhat different from the original figure.

However, I do understand why some of the owners of the original figure could be disgruntled that there limited edition figure is not as limited anymore.

If the unpainted sculpts which weren't limited are being offered along with IDM swords and new design clothing (Higher Price) I don't see this being that big a deal, Rainman offers his headsculpts more than once and as for clothing Kato is making new design which is similar to other customizers making Rainman like clothing so people can have a rainman like figure just like this will be a "Morpheus Limited 21" like figure. Thats just my 2cents if that makes sense haha.

Honestly this has been said before their limited to 21 figure is still that their was like five artist working on that thing and it turned out beautiful I can only hope after I get all my parts mine looks as good not to mention most of us will be about 1,000 into this by the time he is done so I really don't see the prob it's not like their will be another 1000 of these just 20 more clothing sets that's 41 figures in toatal that's still more limited than a rainman realease I just beg you guys to let a couple more of us have a chance sorry for the run on but I'm out on my phone trying to type fast thanks again Daniel and Kato for trying this again

I can't resist anymore. You know what? Put me on the list for the Morpheus Jacket. I can't afford the rest but the Jacket is the most important key. I also home there can be some kind of payment plan since this project is a good few months away and it will be easier for me to pay Kato like 50usd every month than 300usd at one go.

Wow people need to stop being so selfish, it isn't a reissue its a new design with a new sword and already offered unpainted sculpt, what is no one ever allowed to make a Morpheus? There will be no certificates from 21-41, these are basically bashed figures! I understand people like limited figures but this seems to be people just trying to secure their investment return eventually.

It is just something like the buyer of Joker was not happy for hottoys offering DX Joker, and the buyer of Joker and DX joker, they were annoyed for Hottoys Joke Ver 2.0

While some people will buy all Joker, Joker DX and Joker 2.0 (and even get Adam Gu head + My outfit as well)

Therefore, the point is : it is nothing about whether it is correct to offer new version. The main point is : what kind of people they are.


Remark : Unlike A&F I am not offering the clearance sale for the same thing with discount price. I am offering the better workmenship with much higher price to the new buyer.

Sculpt - Unpainted was never limited.
Sword - Done by different Artist.
Outfit - New Design and price increase.
Numbered - No!
Complete Figure - No!

I am just fathomed by people's selfishness with this project when it isn't even the same product, and that majority voice it behind the forums back.

I would be interested in hearing from these owners too. I have never seen one of these figures openly posted for sale so I find it bizarre that owners would be upset over this release. The lack of offerings would indicate there is no interest in selling so why begrudge other collectors from owning this piece? It is not even the same figure, as stated earlier. This is a different set, no painted sculpt, no accessories, no packaging or COA, improved design; this set is more expensive than the original, and is still very limited.

I don't see the problem, value is what the market will pay but since no one is selling this is all speculation.

What is the logic that I should not offer the NEW outfit version but it is ok to issue the OLD sculpt ?

It just because Rainman had offered extra unpainted sculpt to public but the clothing is limited in supply ? Therefore..... IT BECOME A RULE THAT I SHOULD NOT OFFER ANY OUTFIT afterward?

There is no rule, those limited numbers pertain to the ENTIRE LIMITED FIGURE, not to your outfit alone which isn't even the same outfit it will be redesigned, you know how I feel Kato go for it man, but other people need to speak up for or not for.
