Re: Kaustic muscle mods, legs and arms kit

Yes logan, TTM20.
i do hope to get one soon, so i will see

Eric

damn, I would actually be interested in a frank miller batman body

That neck would not be a major issue... the head could still be a ball joint which would allow for the most necessary head tilting. Losing the mid torso would be a bit of a loss; but that's how the larger ACI body is designed and it's still a good basebody.

once the legs are all cast up i will have a mess and see what i can do, thinking about it i should be able to keep some of the mid articulation just probably not as much as it normally has

Totally didn't see this for a minute.

I also think a Miller version of Bats would be kinda awesome.

Would also be interested to see if those legs and arms could be worked onto a Barney Ross or Bane body.

pm'd you :)

Re: Kaustic muscle mods, legs and arms kit

you know if i can get the arms to work as a kit, that is actually do-able, i could remove the rubber upper chest area and sculpt in a new one that would just fasten in place, you would lose the neck articulation and probably loose the articulation just below the breast though

is that the same as the new ttm 20?

That would be amazing Logan! With Mike Pister making the FM Bat belt..it would be awesome!:clap

Re: Kaustic muscle mods, legs and arms kit

I would love to see a body be modded into a Frank Miller Bats...chunky all around (pause).

Re: Kaustic muscle mods, legs and arms kit

Interested by leg set ^^

thanks, added :)

once these are all done and cast up i will start the full Miller kit. is everyone whos interested happy for it to be on the Kaustic?
i think the legs will work ok and maybe a bit of tweaking for the ams and ive already started on the chunky boots and fists, im quite excited abou this :)

Re: Kaustic muscle mods, legs and arms kit

Thanks.
If it works on a kaustic it should work on any HOT TOYS body since they are ver compatible.

BTW any price range for the leg set?

thats what im hoping, the bottom leg looks like it will but not sure what the hot toys upper leg joint is like

not yet but i want to keep it cheap, i would like it to be the same price as my heads, but obviously its gonna use a lot more resin and silicone, im just conscious of the fact that people will already have forked out for the bodys often at stupidly inflated prices.
What do people think is a fair price?

It's hard to say... but I think a similar price to the heads (or a bit more) is very fair given the time and materials. Not to mention test fitting stuff to work out the kinks is probably harder.

For something a full set, kits with multiple pieces tend to be in the $100-$150 range. Although I could see the Miller Batman being more if we're looking at Bicep, Forearm, Thigh, lower legs, torso, head, hands and feet.

Re: Kaustic muscle mods, legs and arms kit

I would also be interested to send you a Hot Toys TTM-20 to add muscle to. I never did pick up a KP body.

Legs set for me as well

cheers for that, lets say i will aim for £35.00 -£40.00, since there does seem to be a fair bit of interest probably be good at 35

hold off on that for now, once these are done some bits may be interchangeable

Re: Kaustic muscle mods, legs and arms kit

Logan, I think the TTM20 is taller than the KP body. Can anyone confirm that?

Eric

i thought the kaustic was a bit taller, i would measure it but its in pieces :)

Re: Kaustic muscle mods, legs and arms kit

KP is smaller than the T800.
Can't find the pics...

Re: Kaustic muscle mods, legs and arms kit

i'm pretty sure the KP body is taller.

T-800 body used longer foot peg but if you removed those I think the kp body is a tad bigger.
