Ok, V-Raptor as of today has everything in hand, and thanks to Fluid for the massive collection of reference photos. VR says Max will be getting all of the parts by the end of this month and start work on the prototype paint to show you guys.

Thanks for everyone's patience. The biggest part of the wait is the shipping process.

Got the first WIP photo of the urn prototype!
I'm really digging it, I think it's going to need a high gloss, candy coat type finish to sell in that porcelain feel, but I'm liking where it's going.
Keep in mind that this urn bottom is not much more an an inch or so tall, tons of detail here!

What do you guys think?

 
It's really impressive. I'd totally kill for one of these, but luckily I don't want Trinity into my collection. But I'm very happy to be involved into this process, pretty fun to watch it.
 
Here are the finished prototype photos. I have sent out a request for Max to let us know what the paint fee will be for the urns.

Remember, if you ordered one, you already own the raw, unpainted 3D prints. Should you choose to have yours painted to match the proto, that will be a separate fee for Max. If you choose to not go with their paintup, I will have them ship yours back unpainted, along with the painted ones.

I personally think the photos are fantastic, and the amount of detail they worked into such a small piece blows me away. Cannot wait to add this to my Dex shelf.

Ok guys, here is the final photo of the prototype with the proper finish.
In this shot you can see a bit more of the gold paint in the flower outlines. Stunning work IMO.

The prototype will be my personal one to keep. I need to hear from the rest of you (Levit, DP, Ecko and Fluid) if you want yours painted like this or you just want to keep yours unfinished.

Max's paint fee is $70. This includes paypal fees and return shipping of the Urns to me. Since I have been burned on shipping high dollar items without requiring insurance, these will need to be shipped from me to you with USPS priority with delivery confirmation and insurance for the full amount. The S/H for U.S. shipping will be $7.50.

I need to know ASAP which option you guys want.
Payments need to be sent to: [email protected].
Once I receive all payments, one payment will be made to Max from me.
