Well, yo wanted news? Here you are!!!

This is the design Sean made for the sawed off shotgun. For me it looks very accurate, the barrell a bit longer, but the part of the barrell at the top shorter, maybe a little more work on the wood gripping zone and the metal design next to the wood has a different shape. Any other changes to be made??

The question is what material we want the shotgun made it of? For me in resin but maybe in a flexible material? Pros/Cons?

Soon I hope to give estimate prices and more news like shotgun opened pics and a fews shells to go in!!!

If you dont want to paint it yourself we can look for someone to paint them. Please tell me if your order is for unpainted or painted!!!

i think the wood part under the metal part has less curve, more like a "ramp" curve. Check the movie still for comparison. Hope this includes the shells, we need the shells !

Looking good so far, though is this the final shotgun or first pass? There are quite a few things I can see from the stills you posted that need changing for accuracy. Mainly to do with the shape of the wooden parts, stock and front end. So the Front end should be more narrow rounded at the end, stock/handle needs to be more rounded at the butt end and has that tab when it joins to the metal frame.

The shotguns on the internet are not too accurate to the movie prop which looks to be a gunsmith custom. This is a good ref for the handle. Can Sean line up the models proportions to this?

Gloved hands for me as well as long as their not resin. And shotgun looks good needs to be a little shorter.

No, its not definitive, Sean is waiting for our feedback and will make changes so I will collect them or he´ll come around here with updates on the design. Dont hesitate to give your opinion, we know him and he is open to improve the designs

I see no problem in doing the shotgun in resin. Any other thoughts or materials in mind?

it0778, I am with you about the hands in flexible material, if we get more interest hope Sean makes them, but shotgun and the dog are surely before the hands.

Rick-flu, RICKMASTER, it0778, I take note of your comments !! For me the barrel is shorter at the top, but it is larger as a whole, much than Sean´s first attempt

I noticed with the pictures, that the trigger guard is much longer than
on Sean's.

See proportional wise in this picture below. You can really notice how much longer
it is. if you super impose them next to each other.

Here a quick shot so you know what I'm seeing.

Also the grip comes down a little more, looks like the bottom
line of the grip is almost parallel with barrel. Where as in
Sean's, there is much more of an angle.

Anyone else seeing that?

The body shape and trigger guard are correct in the ref image I posted earlier, so should trace over that. Also found an image of the handle butt shape.
