I think the issue is, Austin Power is not exactly the 'high-brow' fare that the custom elitist bottled water drinkers usually plunk down fat stacks for.

Well the Wizard of Oz did have a Sequel and 2 Prequels and a Re-imagining...

I would probably rather have Dr. Evil over Austin though I don't think I'd actually spend that much for one. Love the movie but toy-wise it's not a line I've had on my wishlist.

It is a bold choice for sure, but I think it is a good one. For some reason quirky characters like these make me enjoy my displays a whole lot more. The Dark Helmet I have still makes me smile every time I see it. I think I would feel the same about this set.

I think it is all about price point for this duo. I feel like the more appealing it is… the more people will bite. My first reaction to seeing this thread was "Crap! Why did nobody do this yet!". It wasn't something I was clamoring for but it makes complete sense.
