Probably depends on the other sites you're referencing. Some fan sites may show folks with interest, who in actuality have little interest in putting up the money for something like this. More exposure also opens Denny up to more unwanted scrutiny.

Yeah, Die Hard is the project Iminime should get moving on IMO. Assuming the sculpt is what they are capable of, that's a pretty much guaranteed success.
