Kind of have to agree with Snake, his face just looks too soft.
The eyebrows aren't quite stern enough, in the game he's got his brow pretty much continually furrowed and there's more of a point to the outer edge of the brow as well.
That said, it's still the best Joel I've seen - put me down as interested.

I see it too, the moneyshot will be seeing the eyes painted on to see just how well the final painted sculpt comes together. Hands down the best Joel thus far.

This is a good comparison shot. BUT even the dissimilarities are caused by lens distortion as you can see that the in-game shot on the left is a longer zoom style lens.

I agree. Kai's sculpt is great don't get me wrong but Iminime's captures the character better in every way. I said it before this will be the full package set to own. :clap

I made this on my phone. Didn't realize how distorted the pic was until I got behind my computer. :lol

LOL. I also think people have this habit on SSF to say 'I don't know... i just dont see 'X' in the sculpt at all!' when they really mean 'The likeness is 94% perfect, but I wish it were 100%'

That sculpt is spot on. The details in the beard is amazing.

I still like Kai very much. But I really like that one too.

This looks great! Very good likeness and amazing details! Still thinks Commandos looks best in terms of likeness so far, dont care that much for Kais at all to be honest.

I think Commando's outweighs Kai's in likeness, but once this is painted it would probably beat them both.

I'm sold. Bring it on Denny! The changes made all the difference. I thought it was perfect on the first sculpt but this new one is amazing. I guess making 3 different Joels isn't too big of a deal. Now I guess I need 3 different Ellie's to go with them.:lol
