No new updates in a couple months now? Is the Ace head a dead project?
I am curious as well, I have been holding off on ordering the Asmus set until I knew this was secured.
It's still going ahead but mikes been mega busy he hasn't given up haha! Who else would nail jim carrey a likeness

I see other newer projects getting more priority than this older one? I'm just wondering if I should sell off the Asmus figure I bought specifically for this project?

I think it's a go but I wish this would get done. Pee wee almost done and that just got announced. I mean the head anyway. I know he still re-working the bike parts.
Some sculpts that I rough in go pretty fast and others take more time. Legolas took about 5 months and Pee Wee only 1 week. That's why I work on several projects at a time.
For Ace - The smile that I want to capture is hard to find references on...for example I need a straight on and a profile of the same smile and high enough resolution to blow up and see the details. I currrently have Ace Venture and Jareth in this stage of being roughed in but not nearly complete because I'm having a hard time bringing out the the likeness based on the limitations of the reference materials. It will get there...I have never not been able to complete a sculpt.
I own the Asmus Ace as well so I definitely will get it done. If you guys have any high res screen shots you can send me, let me know.

LOL! You know Jareth is my ultimate custom figure so that is doubly confirmed!
