Right guys got a small update.

I'm not sure if your aware or not - but all Scaletta sets do not come pre-assembled (it was an oversight by me until recently)

What that means in regards to Snake is that the sneaking suit will be sewn onto the body but that is it. The rest of the parts will be separate and the buyer is responsible for putting everything together, glue whatever needs gluing etc.

So therefore i propose 2 options.

  • I can send everything as is for the you, the buyer to put together.
  • I will put assemble the figures, but at a cost to the buyer.

I haven't decided on a price yet, but it will probably be somewhere around $30 per person.

The price may seem high but these are expensive pieces and if the buyer doesn't want the responsibility because they don't feel confident or whatever then the responsibility will lie with me on making sure everything it on properly and glued (and not damaged in the process). If i do them I'm also opening up myself to complaints for a multitude of reasons, so i think it only fair and i hope you guys understand!

It's not compulsory, i don't think it will be overly hard but some people just do not want the responsibility in case something does happen and would prefer someone to do it for them so this is for those people.

Finally I'm not 100% sure yet on this as i will need to have a fully assembled figure in hand, but if i can't bubble wrap them in a way that 100% won't damage any part or rub anything while in transit, then i may need to buy some proper figure boxes for them them in which will need to be paid for by the buyers. I don't think these are that expensive but its a cost all the same.

And again, the above is not compulsory - if you don't want to pay for a box and want to chance it just being bubble wrapped in a shipping box that is totally fine but there will be no discounts or refunds on damaged goods so the decision and outcome will be on the buyer.

Sounds good, i think if you put up pics of the set and what needs to be worked on youd get better responses in regards to whom will attempt it on their own. Im sure ill be fine as i have some experience with this stuff. Thank you for the updates matt.

No worries guys! as I said it's not a requirement, just for those who might not be comfortable doing it

Shameless plug, I'm selling the full MGS1 set that Frank and Sean did if anybody's interested.

no worries guys, once i have the sets i will post a photos of how it comes and what needs doing and you can decide for yourself then how you wanna go about it.

Looks Great! If anyone want to buy my spot on the list for this PM me. Had a baby since then. I ordered both heads and the parts but miss out on the clothes. Thanks

Well it's confirmed in the sense if we can get at least another 10 in for full figures then it will go ahead after the first run.

As the first run still needs finishing I'm going to wait until it's done to officially open it.

Ok then if there's a second run please put me down for the clothes and everything else to complete the whole figure. Guess I'll redirect some diaper money or enlist him in potty-training bootcamp :) Thanks

ask and you shall receive.

This is actually painted by Maximus Miniatures who Scaletta use as Mark is up to his eyeballs. The eyes have not been glossed over yet either.

Mark actually posted while i was away about some difficulties and he's closed commissions, so i've messaged him to see if he can do the MGS2 bits, if not and the price is good it will most likely go to Maximus Miniatures for those who are wanting it painted but i will update once i have spoken to Mark.

Also i only have this head painted at the minute. I sent him the hands and the pouches but i don't think hes done them yet. I am waiting for a cast of the pistol, boots and Pliskin head to be sent to him to paint as they were the parts that were troublesome.
