Quick update. Head has had more changes and I am happy with the final result. I received the final Toribox suit today and did a test fit of the old head and saw the neck is too long, so this will be adjusted. Hands are still in progress. There will be standard version of hands (relaxed) and DX version which includes cigarette holding hand with wrist and cigarette accessories. More to come soon.

Quick update. Head is done, no more tweaks. Just deciding on correct size after scanning the current outfit on the body. Sorry for the small pic

I'm almost done on the hands. I will aim to separate the ring and finger for easy painting. I may look into 3d printed brass rings if I have time, otherwise the ring will be resin. There will be a standard two relaxed hands and a cigarette holding hand DX set. The cigarette holding hand will have a wrist extension as the sleeve is drawn back in this pose.

I am so pleased with the work you are doing. Thank you for giving this the extra time and effort to make it amazing. The head looks amazing, and the hands ae the perfect touch!

Hey Beastmaster, any chance of doing shoes for this guy? I just finished up an Irishman figure, and the right shoes were a nice touch. Seems this figure is so complete, with the hands and all, that the shoes would be the cherry on top!

I'm not even sure what shoes he has, particularly with the red suit.

So, you're right. Really, I don't think ever see his shoes in this wardrobe.
However, I did find these two photos. The style he wears is a patent leather loafer, worn in an earlier scene.
Also, if you see the suit chart, our suit is bottom left, and he is wearing black shoes.

That being said, if we can do black patent loafers, they would put us at least in the generic style he wears in the movie. Sadly, there is a very small choice of stock, mass produces loafer shoes. So, it'd be a nice upgrade if possible, and would round out the complete figure.

I know, I'm spending your time, which I respect, so...I get it if you don't have time. This is just an ask

I agree, I can't wait to get the head and hands, so not looking to push further. But an option at a later date would be great!

Here are some images of the test prints. All came out well, just need to do some tweaks to parts of the hair. I made the neck bigger so the shirt collar fits tight to it. The shirt collar will need to be unfolded up to place the head in and folded down.

Hands will need to be modified more to fit inside the shirt sleeve cuffs. Also I don't think the posed cigarette wrist hand will work with the additional wrist as the forearm just looks too long when you bend the elbow, so may need to remove the wrist.

The accessories are quite delicate. The plan is to have the tiny ring sapphire printed in translucent dark blue. That way the ring can be painted and the stone added after. I'll look into cigarettes for the holder.

I will be opening orders for hands soon. These will be in very limited supply beyond the interest list as there is much manual work involved with the accessories.

Yes. Looking to ship in January once these are all made. If anyone urgently needs the head shipped before that (ie. painting slot) they may need to have the hands shipped later as hands will be produced after heads.

I had to delay the head prints for a few days. Something about the likeness was niggling at me, so I sank some late nights really screen matching the hair and re-working it, adding more detail. Also the face still wasn't quite there for me, so I did another pass at it and I think I got more 'DeNiro' eyes this time. I'm definitely calling it now, final final version!
