Shoot, I might be a third person to add on a second run Interest.

I typically roll my eyes when people ask for a second run, but I'll just have to be a hypocrite here.

17 back pains, 7 migraines and 8 painkillers later, I'm done with painting!

Great paint up, Ryan! Was it tricky getting the pouches on?

I guess in a month or two, I'll start buying stuff for the Pliskin figure.

I really like the material used for the suit, since you can see his collarbone and pecs through it. Very accurate to in the game model.

I guess that's at least five interested. I understand the multiple times they said no possibility of a second run but it ain't phasing me. If it happens I'll be in, even at full price up front. This figure would be the ultimate gift that I'm trying to acquire.

Amazing paint up there JR.

I have cash ready and waiting for a full spot if anyone wants to shift. Thanks.
Thanks man! "JR", no one's ever called me that yet. I like that! :lol

Thanks Pliss. Yeah it was no big deal getting the pouches on. I used UHU glue & I don't care. Looks sturdy enough. :lol

Yeah, it's an engineering marvel. This was the reason I joined SSF 5 years ago. :lol

My only complaint is that Scaletta didn't get Snake's luscious butt right.

I used to be a huge MGS nut, but the series was on a nose dive after Portable Ops and MGSV finally broke me by how bad it was. I sold 99% of my MGS figures and was waiting for a good MGS2 figure, which is my favorite game in the series, possibly of all time. :lol

MGS2 I think has gotten much better with age and took awhile for people to accept Raiden. But in 2001, you can't grasp the creative reasoning immediately.

Think MGSV will get that "delayed appreciation" and be more culturally relevant as time goes on?

Nah because the players of the older games are much older now and have a better understanding of game interpretation, and there's nothing story wise that makes V appreciable or deep. It says nothing to the player.

I think V will never be remembered for anything other than the Konami Kojima drama.

Yeah. I gave V an honest chance even though I was incredibly pessimistic about it leading up to it. But that argument is never going to have a winner since it completely polarized the community.

I still think overall, MGS2 is the best of the series... even though MGS1 has the edge with better boss fights/villains.

MGS1 certainly has the better story, bosses and characters since the point of MGS2 and it's entire structure was to intentionally infuriate and berate you. But it's that healthy kind of infuriating crap, not like V. :lol

That's exactly it. MGS2 is intentional and it succeeds in almost every element of that.

V is just bewilderingly bad, unintentionally.
