Anyone get a set yet? Very curious to see the different materials used.

I know a few of you got the stainless , brushed version , etc

Still ironing out the bugs in the full set, one knife is being a pain.

But did get my cleaver and kill knife back. Came out great, minimal clean up in white flexible. If this was post polished stainless it would be cool.

So I guess that the white is the best for painting. I'd love to get the silver but I've been told that it's a really soft metal. I wanted to get a watch chain made at a jeweler for Rainman's Plainview and they advised me to go with white gold. Not sure if that would matter here since the knives are pretty sizeable solid pieces. Don't think the silver would take paint to well though.

Laney, you said that they couldn’t do the teeth on the saw but what about in the fine detail plastic?

My initial intention for this was always to print whit plastic that would allow a little filing after printing. With a number of guys wanting to print metal, I might go back and add the teeth. I'm playing with the one knife giving me grief today, will look a the teeth on the saws and bread knife as well.

I already have FLUID's Kill Knife. I want to get the set. What needs to be worked out with the set? Any idea?

Serial Killer Knife set has undergone major surgery.

Saw teeth added to both medical saws and the bread knife now has a serrated edge. I have also taken the dimples of the spatula / filleting knife to allow for a cleaner print.

I have ordered test prints of the set and will have confirmation that all is ok within a couple of days.

I have also removed the sprue that I had originally hand to connect the knives together to save extra work and allow cleaner prints to be made in other materials as required (I was really pleased with how the individual butcher throwing knives printed independent to each other.)
