Butcher Knives pass all checks and have been uploaded. I have ordered a sample print and should know within 2 days whether there are any further issues - but I think it should be right, I basically had to rebuild the set to get it to work.

Cleaver and Large Knife and Throwing Knives all check out and are ready for printing on demand.

Shaun, I was just going through a 3D printing discussion in the How-To Section. Is it possible for you to load these up on some other portals as well? (That is if these are losing detail or not that great in hand from ShapeWays)

so if i get these in stainless steel....are they really going to be made of metal??...i remember seeing a link somewhere around here but don't know where it went....it gave some sort of a description of material being used...some help please...:)

yes, it's a metal/glue mix. I haven't seen any in hand stainless pics however.

i tried to get these already in stainless, no good, shapeways can not make them....they refunded me back my money, and for me the plastic are just too flimsy.....i have them, but they are ok as far as look..

hmm....did Laney ever hear back from them???....i really would have loved to have seen these in some form of metal...:-/...

If SS is a no-go how bout Alumide ? Corrose had a Vallon staff made from it and they looked pretty decent. He had good feedback about the material too. Plus, I imagine it can be painted to get the desired look.

Anyone have pics of other options other than white? Still not sure what to get - looking for something requiring less painting as possible (I are noob).

Sorry guys, nothing in hand.

I did print the cleaver, fight knife and the throwing knives. They came out great, not flimsy at all.

I did have another issue with the butchering knives, which I've got to fix, but honestly just have not had time. Not a big deal just the thickness when the knives reduce to a tip is a little thin.

Nothing in hand for sale, I'm just like everyone else, need to order as required.
