Thank you man and thanks for the compliment Jay....didn't know all the drama that's going on just wanted to show my work for those interested.

Hey buddy no worries , and it was not meant to offend you , I just hope your time does not get wasted like mine did.

Hey bud I'm going to be painting the proto and am very excited that I was asked to do so. I have a few examples of my work to show here.

Your paint work looks awesome. I looked around your thread. Big fan of your Robert Downey Junior Osirus haha.

Thanks man! I can't wait to get the proto painted up for you guys. I'm still learning as I've only been painting for about 8 months

Looking Good! Will the arms be glued once they are dressed? Or will they have a pin of sorts to allow rotation?

Atm they'd be glued but I was thinking that myself it wouldn't be too hard I don't think :) I'm going to send one to Rahmeir next week and the other to my seamstress once the rest of the fabric arrives :)

When I saw the 1st pics of the ompa I wasn't to keen but in hand it's amazing!

Can we get a picture of it standing next to another 1/6 figure to illustrate its scale? I would love to see more pics of the sculpt. It is exciting to see that the wheels are turning!

The oompa loompa looks good! I would be curious to see which one from the movie was Rocco's likeness inspiration.

I do have one question though which involves the socks. Will those be painted on? I only ask because the oompa loompa doesn't have separate shoes right? Or will fabric be glued down? Obviously fabric would look the best but I was just wondering on plan of attack.

Good questions.

I believe the socks will be real as I'm having the fabric printed for the neck piece socks etc :)

How will you merge the sock to the shoe to look like they are tucked underneath? Thats the logistical point I am bringing up hehe. As you can see by the photo they wear what looks like slippers.

Haha I will work that out it may be that we sculpt that extra bit in to make the socks look tucked in we can work round this..... I mean we've got a fine painter and moodier on hand and a fine seamstress. What I will do is have the proto of ompa started ASAP and when he is done we can nit pick things to improve him.

:)

Looking foward to it

Good logic! I am a detail oriented guy... comes with my professional territory... I call it like I see it haha. I think Rahmier is a good match! You might want to add his name onto the front project page! It is good that we can adjust things as necessary.

Hey guys more updates still waiting in the clothing matrieals to arrive but I've been in contact with Kumik and they are willing to hair the wonka sculpts obviously for a price around about $40 roughly.

Also working on a deal with them to get some bodies :) I may ask if you'd like a body that you'd pay $15 but will have more info soon!

Sent the ompa off to Rahimer in the morning to :)
