Got mine in today. Overall an impressive effort, but the peghole in the mouth for the faceplates is too big, so I had to pad the peg on the custom mouth with sculpey to get it to fit, and I'm currently having to carve out the inside of the head a bit because it's flat out not deep enough inside to even sit on the neck. It just wobbles and falls off. Hopefully it's just mine and no one else will have to.

really, i had drilled out the cowls more on that batch and checked them all on my dx before shipping and they all seemed fine. if you have any further issues let me know and i'll fix or replace it.

How's the texture on the cowl compared to the DX12's cowl?

It's no big deal, I just took an extra sharp pocket knife and carved out about 1/8" inside and glued the long metal strip a little deeper into the head and it sits just fine. The stock PERS head is honestly a little wobbly on the neck too so it may be an issue with the magnet in the neck post. It's all good. :)

Tyranus: The texture is fine in-hand, honestly. I still may go over it once with an acrylic coat just to make sure it's all even with no mold marks or anything, but it's just fine to the naked eye.

Once I got it carved out and sitting properly, it's a hell of an upgrade. Great work, MRM.

For anyone curious about the eyes.
