it's highly unlikely i'll do a second run of this cowl, however i may do a different version without the switchable faceplates. these have proven to be a big pain in the butt to make and i don't really have an interest in going through it again. we'll see though.

Got mine today and man....can't say enough about it! Still doing some fit and finish with it and my Robbie face plate but it is amazing that it is almost a perfect fit! Just shows the attention to detail you both pursue in your work because it pretty much popped right in.
I'm just making it fit a tad deeper.
After seeing this, I think I'm going to paint both my dx 02 and my dx 12 eyes.

yeah i don't have robbies fp so i had no way to really check that. i've read that his fp fit a little differently too or they don't all fit the same or something along those lines. anyway, glad you like it man.

without having the fp in hand, i'd say that's probably the best bet.
Yes. I'm still working on mine but the fit is getting better. I don't think the fit will be perfect but it looks pretty damn good.
Mine actually fit pretty good right from the start. Just needs sanding to fit deeper in the cowl. Not sure the chin will ever be perfect but it definitely doesn't look bad.

Yeah, it's such an awesome cowl and fp that it really can't look bad no matter what. Sanding the fp sounds like a reprieve compared to all the other mods we've all had to do to the figure :hi5:

Just be careful - don't overhandle the faceplate because the paint will come off. Check the first post in Robbie's thread.
