Plainview Backpack WIP first page.

Ok this thread is to see if people are interested enough in this project for me to try it. The main thing is if I do this, it will be as detailed as possible. I don't want to do something partial because that doesn't interest me. But because of that it will be reflective in the price. I'm probably going to make at least one for myself anyway so you will be able to see what I'm talking about.
Right now, I don't see how this piece would be any cheaper then $100-$125. If I could buy the canteen it would save some but I can't find one that is correct. What you will get is what you see in those Plainview pics.

Here is my stab at a proto. Im waiting on straps and things but I think I have the patterns worked out. They will be a little different then what is pictured but this is close.

You would see a full finished pack with all the details before I would even consider have a FOR SALE thread. Right now I just need to know if people would want a really expensive accessory.

This is only an interest thread. Butcher is next on my list. This will happen after.

I'm gonna enjoy watching this come together.

Are any of those pics in the second post the hero prop, or are they just the same brand/construction from that era? The first few pics look identical to the prop.

No those are same type of packs. Some look to be from the period though.
