Re: DEADWOOD PROJECT (Al- 1st print, Pre-mold sculpt)

Looks even better printed. Mind if I ask if you printed this or if you can get me the contact into of who did? I've got some personal projects I'm looking to print and am trying to get quotes. I'm in need of really high quality printing.

Looking forward to more updates

Re: DEADWOOD PROJECT (Al mold being cast, 1st Bullock rendering!)

Not bad. Way too happy lol. Al looks great. How are we looking on clothing?

Re: DEADWOOD PROJECT (Al mold being cast, 1st Bullock rendering!)

Heres the latest.........INPUT NEEDED.... LEt me know what you think, before he goes on..
I think
- the eyes need to be more "squinty" and less eye lid.
- face is too wide
- i prefer a pissed off look, like this...

Re: DEADWOOD PROJECT (Al mold WIP) (NEED input on Bullock)

100% agree on your points Frank, and I think he definitely needs a much sterner look.
Part of the trouble looking at pictures vs the sculpt is the angle presented. You so rarely ever see Bullock looking straight ahead at you with forehead and chin in line - he tilts his head forward (chin down) and this changes how his entire face looks. It immediately gives him a more aggressive look but that's not how the sculpt WIP is presented so it's harder to judge.

His mouth could probably have the lips pursed together more (rather than relaxed).
Hard to comment on the eyes until the eyebrows are in place, but you're probably right about needing to be slightly more squinted. They may also need to be slightly deeper set (hard to tell from the rendering).
Not sure about the forehead / brow / cheekbones... Something looks off but I can't quite place it. I think his upper cheekbones are definitely too wide and it's creating a slope from his forehead down to his cheekbone and that's making his eyes and brow look wrong.

I think the final touches will be critical - the wrinkles etc to make his face look like it's under tension.
I don't know - all I can really say is that he needs more kinetic potential. He needs to look wound up and that means he's tense in every facial muscle. I think Will is definitely on track, but it's hard to say until more detail is added (which makes it harder to make changes down the line I know).

Hes still in the beginning stages with this, so he has time to tweak the sculpt.

Re: DEADWOOD PROJECT (Al mold WIP) (NEED input on Bullock)

I agree with all suggestions made. Would actually like to see the mustache a little more thick and hair in the back slightly longer as well

Re: DEADWOOD PROJECT (Al mold WIP) (NEED input on Bullock)

I think the latest rendering is getting there. Needs more wrinkling of the forehead by the eyes to show that pent up anger. Stevejack pretty much nailed it.

Hes getting closer, the details such as the hair, wrinkles, texture, and eyebrows... will give it more life

Looking better. I think the shape is correct but anyone think it could be a little more slim overall?
