Aeon did the Head/Clothing sets. You can see many pics in this thread. To me, it doesn't look like Val at all. Rainman nailed it though.

Incorrect. Iminime team did Doc's head/outfit paint work.

I don't know why some think that the head paint job from the head/clothing set kills the likeness. Here's mine. It's not a full set and to me, it totally looks like him:



I even compared it to ShortRound's full set paint job (back when he had one) and the pink lips on his actually killed it for me.

The pink lips on Rainmans paint did seem odd, but i haven't seen a FS Doc in hand do they really come across that pink in hand?

The pink lips on Rainmans paint did seem odd, but I haven't seen a FS Doc in hand and I'm sure the lips aren't quite as pink as they come off in some pics.

Seen them in person. They are very pink. But nothing that a light coat of skin color paint pass won't solve.

Gotcha yeah I know Teddy had the lips on his toned down a bit from the original pink color...it seemed more accurate after.

On the Doc Holliday, didn't he appear in the movie with the pinker lips and pale shin? I remember he had TB but to the best of my memory,and its been a while since I watched it, he was kind of sickly like that. For those of you that have seen it more recently is that right or wrong? Either way this is a darn fine figure.

His lips were pretty pale..almost the same color as his skin in certain scenes..

I appreciate it. Like I said been a long time between viewing. Awesome flick though. "I'm your huckleberry". Amazing performance by VAL with the best lines in the movie. Now it's hot me to thinking. I want one of these. When is Rainman's next set going up for sale. I actually need a date if anyone has it rather than just released at the same time as another figure please.

Nothing set in stone as far as when Jules will be rekeased. It depends if RM has been working on him while also working on Vincent. But from the announcement of Vince to the Preorder was around 6 weeks so it'll probably be sometime in June.

Yeah just on headsculpts. He's never re-released any H&CS

Thanks a lot for the pics transhi. Doc looks fantastic!

I wanted to see the difference between iminime & aeon's style. What I could spot was moustache on the philtrum. There's a conspicuous gap/less hair which iminime has kept but aeon hasn't. Plus the eyes (aeon) look redder too.

Its hard to really tell as the pics of Aeons vs. Iminime aren't of the same resolution but I almost prefer the Iminime over Aeon as the mustache on Iminime looks more accurate. although Aeon seems to have nailed the sickly Doc with more red around the eyelids.
