Yunsil is not the only one growing with these runs, lol. Every guy doing a run is also growing.... In the profits of said runs. Want to impress all of us with your great contributions to the hobby eh???? Take no ****ing money to host these runs cause at the end of the day,,,, it's all about getting clothing for your favorite character and helping Yunsil grow right??? If these guys took zero profits then the Yunsil train would derail and problem solved, lol!!!!

I don't know what kind of mark-up happens on these runs, but I don't fault them for collecting compensation for their time. Because make no mistake, between posting updates, communicating feedback and adjustments to Yunsil, collecting payments, following up on non-payments, shipping, etc....it takes a lot of it. Perhaps there could be more transparency about it, but I don't hold it against them.

I agree with joe on this, it's gonna be a damn shame if these 2 super artists sculptor/tailor part ways hope they don't and it works out. I also agree that it does lessen and water down quality when skipping around on multiple projects, yeah yunsil can go for the quick money but careful not to forget where you came from and may regret leaving rain man for a bunch a the cheaper smaller runs, when in the end with lee there is longevity and plenty of $ for her on his future projects.

Lee said himself in his post that Yunsil is not his personal tailor, and he said he's still planning to go to her with his more complex outfits until his new tailor's skill is up to the task. I don't know what you mean by watered-down quality, Yunsil and her team continue to deliver exception work...hence the long list of projects (people want her immaculate work) and the lengthy wait time (she's taking her time to get each project right).

Agree 1000%. I pretty much share the same concerns with you Joe, I think Rainman and Yunsil both share the burden of fault here though for not really protecting their collaborative resource and business relationships. I have more to say on this, I'll be chiming in soon with some ideas and hopefully Rainman will consider them and look at how to fix this situation specific to areas where business is done in volume. There is a golden rule and basic understanding in the garment industry with Maximum/Minimums. Basically if I want a a round of fabric and you do too but we're both competing for the same factory to manufacture it....The business that places the largest order is prioritized as 1st and the list works down based on volume order. This is a basic understanding in clothing industry. It's the reason why smaller clothing startups always are behind in their garment line seasons or why their size runs aren't always comparable to other outlets etc. I suspect Yunsil may not have considered the logistics of this yet, but if this is in fact the case then she should really start considering this because her current project priority list doesn't look very wise when you have a powerhouse like Artmaze on a waitlist.

People deserve to hear exactly what you're thinking, not what you think they want u to hear. Ive loved this hobby for a long time and hate to see it's boiled down to this. I have dozens of PMs from "elite" collectors who feel like I do but don't speak up. Why? Because it's NOT worth it. It's 10 vs 10,000. Hate me all you want but I know everyone disagreeing with me sees where I'm coming from. As do I see where you're coming from. Just understand that it's frustrating to receive a 1500 figure without yunsil clothing because she's too busy doing 100 other projects.

I personally agree with you for the most part. What's not very nice is coming to a site where I enjoy reading and discussing one of my hobbies and have to read remarks like, "Enjoy your 1500$ figure with glue stains, piss poor stitching and Bobby pins. Smh." That's just not very nice, Joe. I, like others, invested a good chunk of change on this. Also, you're generalizing and I don't think it's fair to blame every collector other than yourself and a few of your "elite" friends, as you call them, for a problem regarding Yunsil etc.

I had the Gunslinger set today and there was a lot wrong with it, unfortunately. I have emailed Lee and hope he can sort something out. Also, Lee packed them etc and knew what he was sending out, so he's not free from blame or fault, as far as I'm concerned.

I think a large proportion of the blame lies with Yunsil taking on so much. I agree that Rainman should be priority and she should not take on anything else until she's completed past projects. I've already put a deposit on the Leia dress that was supposed to be done months ago. Yunsil needs to take a step back, IMO. I have zero idea why Yunsil is taking on all these projects and delaying them all - well, apart from cold, hard cash, obviously.

I just want to say that I also think it was wrong for Lee not to disclose the new tailor to the Gunslinger buyers. Rainman and Yunsil have been like PB&J since the beginning, and he should have known better than to think his fans wouldn't care.

You're a real piece of work and will never get it, man. Never. Toxic. Come at you? That's all you ever do on here to people and you don't like being called out.

Welcome to my ignore list :lol :wave

Shonuff was a full figure, first of all.
The rad figure is a one off.

The rest is bashed retmeir work.
And yes, i find it laughable how u think rarity is what were talking about.

What is at stake here is the credibility of the ENTIRE community. Lots of us cringe at the idea of bashing a figure together after owning the figures theyre trying to replicate.

If this hobby becomes only kitbashing with 3d vimal heads i dunno way to say. Theres nothing special about it. They ruined the hobby and will lose most of the full figure artists that made them love the hobby in the first place. Great work !

For some reason my post is gone but I guess the question is do you guys own Yunsil and her company? No you don't.....your a customer. They run their business as they see fit am I correct? I own a lot of Jacob and Rob's work and it's amazing. Not many will you find on the market. That doesn't make us babies or losers, we collect just like the rest but in a different way.
Stiff Richards you didn't get your Sam figure from Caine and you went another route to get it by Rainman everyone knows that. If collectors cant get a figure by Rainman are they wrong for going another route?

Where all all these **** figures with rushed sculpts and slapped on paint? Usually if someone is willing to spend the cash on a Yunsil outfit, they take pride in the rest of the figure. I know I do.

Not everyone profits off of the runs enough for those free, paid for by the community surfer paint apps dane ;)

Who's complaining on profit? You or the customers? I've heard none from the customers
I bought Yunsil Myers coveralls from a collector and even the retail price was high I got what I want. I'm sure Mike made a profit and that's fine because they are perfect with my figure

I'm just wondering?? All the Star Wars fans in 1/6? How would you guys feel if Hot Toys started farming out their tailoring operations to cosplayers all the while their second string tailor people took over giving you real bad tailoring on Hot Toys. I'm sure you would all just say, " well good for Hot Toys!! If it wasn't for them my kids wouldn't have such nice Halloween Costumes this year!!!
