Then I guess quit so we can proceed with enjoying the hobby. A win win situation solved...you can continue on with what you want and we can continue on with what we want. You need to take the complaints to Rainman since he is the one who shipped that figure out to you knowing the defaults. If his prototype was glued down like that then shame on him for not informing you all. I'm sure everyone would have waited for Yunsil.

Not everyone profits off of the runs enough for those free, paid for by the community surfer paint apps dane ;)

Not sure what you're implying...I have never run a Yunsil project before, and the projects I have run over the years I have NEVER marked up. So please, elaborate.

Also, there are quite a few great painters in the community now, many of them better than Lee (imo) with his questionable color palette choices. These new, talented painters are more than enough to serve the collectors that you're bashing for daring to put together figures that don't come with a COA.

I'm just wondering?? All the Star Wars fans in 1/6? How would you guys feel if Hot Toys started farming out their tailoring operations to cosplayers all the while their second string tailor people took over giving you real bad tailoring on Hot Toys. I'm sure you would all just say, " well good for Hot Toys!! If it wasn't for them my kids wouldn't have such nice Halloween Costumes this year!!!

Apples and oranges. Hot toys owns their factories. Lee does not, as much as you guys seem to want to believe it, own Yunsil.

none of you would even know who yunsil is without Lee so how about having some ****ing respect for the guy who made you love her work and this hobby so much. jesus christ.

The only disrespect I see here is yours, towards the people in the community that don't buy into your elitist ******** and want to use the resources at their disposal to add their favorite characters to their collection.

Wanting and appreciating single artist releases from artists who set standards that you all try to replicate is not elitist.

This is a Rainman thread not a Rahmier / Iris / yunsil / rocco / surfer / vimal / jd kim throw together bash thread.

This pertains to full releases.

Full releases that are now without yunsils clothing THANKS to the names mentioned above, that only know of yunsil because of Lee's work - and they abuse TF out of her with any idea they can come up with even if theres only 8 interested.

I have bashed figures and of course it comes own to ones personal preference but those mean so much less to me than my full releases. I am allowed to feel that way. It is how i collect. People find pride in different things, i get it. But at least I havn't forgotten where the appreciation for yunsil came from, and the overall idea of being a collector of original artwork.

So are original art collectors elitist unless they repaint the canvases or have it updated or copied? Interesting. one of the only hobbies i know of where originals are treated as for "elitists only" and now frowned upon instead of respected. Shame on all of you. Pathetic.

We're not talking about recasts or ****** bootlegged outfits. We're talking about people paying top dollar for original, hand painted sculpts and custom, hand tailored outfits. Excuse me for calling you elitist when the only difference, when you get down to it, is that their figures aren't an "official artwork" that comes with a COA.

I guess anyone who collects original artworks by single artists are elitest?
Am I not allowed being enthused by an artists catalogue of work?
am i not allowed questioning when his tailor, that he made famous, now cant work for him because of the rahmiers?

I get it ! you guys like to put figures together and dress them up yourselves cross legged with your tongue out! believe it or not lots of us don't and still like to have full releases by respected artists who set standards in the hobby. what the **** is wrong with that? Also, yes. the COA means a lot. To any collector or any artwork in any genre - the certificate of authenticity is ****ing important. Theres a reason why something with a coa can sell for 10X the amount something missing the coa does. collectibility.

Any artist can print a COA. These things aren't verified by some kind of registry. I just sold a "bash"for the price of 2 gunslinger dxs.

Don't blame me for the Yunsil jam. If Lee had some integrity he could have explained the situation to everyone who would have been ok with waiting however long it took for a accurate clothing set. I wouldn't ship out anything that I wasn't happy with. He could have at least mentioned it before taking money, I'm sure he knew.

You're absolutely allowed to praise and appreciate Lees work, it's a damn fine portfolio of magnificent pieces. What makes you elitist is when you **** all over people who decide to collect a different way, and call them pathetic losers. And who said Yunsil can't work for Lee anymore? She's not "his" tailor, as the man has said himself, but it's my understanding that he has at least 1 project in her queue as we speak.

And thank you for proving my point with your resale comment. There is SO much more to this hobby than how much your figure will resell for. I get why you might not understand that, though, when all you do is **** on people's initiative to create their favorite characters in 1/6 while you wait for Lee to announce his next project.

Ive never sold any of my sets and never plan to. I was showing you why, in every avenue of collecting, coa's exist and are important to true collectors.

Its Jacob *******, and your right I like realistic sculpt and accurate clothes that have revisions not just the first thing Yunsil craps out. Unlike Lee I don't use knock off ttm18 bodies with crap hands, oversized heads, and doll like paint apps that Lee has stated himself he paints 40 heads in 2 days.

Lee outsources most of his accessories and clothes just like anyone else does. Just keep clutching to those golden tickets as the hobby evolves past Rainman

This is a rainman thread and now you're literally all in here threatening to make this figure JUST to spite Lee and his work. Get off your brothers **** and show some ****ing class. God you guys are losers its sad af.

No I HAVE NEVER ran a clothing thread that copied any Rainmans figures. Others have and are free to do so but I never would.

We have comissioned some of the same characters that Lee has done maybe that where your getting confused. After the sculpt is sold I'm not responsible for the runs people do. Most have used Iris anyway of they do a run of the same character. So quit blaming me and try to finish those accessory sets that Lee's figures were lacking.

Im done here. Back to privately collecting what i love. I see the poison of the rahmier bros has metastasized its way into every aspect of the hobby. A shame.
