I was just thinking how amazing a Rainman Aragorn figure would be. Imagine if he nailed the head sculpt. Gold right there. And then a Yunsil outfit :drool And Rainman's quality of accessories. What an insane release that would be.

The two Exorcist Regan figures weren't for me, but they made me think that two versions of Samara from The Ring (I prefer the American movie lol) would be something I'd buy, one with the well as an accessory, and another with maybe just the lab chair. It'd be fun to make those forest/lab backgrounds for them, but maybe no one else would agree. :lol And if there's some way a Naomi Watts figure can be made, I'd be so happy haha.

Samara would be awesome. One of my long time horror wants. I think the BJD body would actually be even better suited for Samara than it was for Regan since it could stand on its own and achieve suitable poses for her. The well would be a must. A TV with a half body coming out of it would be awesome too

:goodpost: :clap Really glad you would buy it too! And yeah, the TV scene would be great! I hope a few more people support a Samara figure. If he can just modify the body he already made, hopefully it would make it a slightly easier project (if it happens lol).

And I know some people were uncomfortable with a figure from The Exorcist, but I think this would be more accessible IMO.

I see from other posts that Samara instead of Sadako is as controversial as ever. :lol :rotfl
I just think The Ring had a great atmosphere and look, but it's just my preference.

Hell yea, I'd be first in line! I've been clamoring for Samara as long as I have for Regan. Unfortunately horror as a whole has a small following compared to most other genres, but I do believe you're right; without possession as part of the story people would probably be more comfortable owning Samara than Regan. Would love to see it but sadly I don't think there's enough support

:lol I got pumped when I first saw the SH Figuarts piece and then I was like, "wait, that's not Samara. That's that other chick!" :wink1:

I can't speak as a purist because I never saw Ringu, so the American version is all I know. I'm team Samara but I do have to give the original a watch
