I had read the original Graphic Novel before I saw the movie. And as much as I liked the movie, the only part that left me cold was the premise that they didnt keep in the movie, regarding why he was hounded so badly!

The dark and brutal story of his past was one of the main plot points in the graphic novel and which I believe was significant in justifying the name 'A History of Violence'

i think seb used that eastern promises one in a custom and it looked perfect:

I have never seen eastern promises so I'm not familiar with the character, but as soon as I seen this pic I instantly thought of G-man from Half life, I think it's the eyes.

I would like to see Rainman do only the HeadSculpts of the 4 GhostBusters.
I would like to replace the Mattel head-sculpts for Rainman's (If he made them). I was already a believer, but after witnessing yet another masterpiece in Doc's head-sculpt I can't imagine the justice he would bring to these four.

Personnaly I would like to see a RAINMAN ARAGORN.
That would be epic!

absolutely! Even outside the viggo realm that has been discussed in this thread, this is one of the most essential films not to be accurately represented in 1/6 yet (sideshow's stuff doesnt do the film justice)

with the hobbit coming out, we can assume hot toys will nab the license, but that leaves us out in the cold when it comes to Aragorn. Rainman, make it happen!

Jacket, undershirt, the jeans... the head sculpt with beanie cap.

I saw a lot of love for Torrance... but I have a feeling someone like Hot Toys, who already acquired Jack's likeness, could possibly touch that character. With Kubrick's estate being real ball-busters and hard to deal with, it could be difficult, but feasible. Nevertheless, Torrance and Randle Patrick McMurphy are fine candidates.
