I would totally be in for "Swegen," Bullock, or nearly any Woody Allen pre-1990s you could think of, though not many of his characters are worthy of the full Rainman treatment IMO. Maybe this:

I never saw Taxi Driver until I joined this thread and kept seeing people wanting a Bickle. FInally sat down and watched it and loved it. Now I want a Bickle. IMO Bateman can wait only because HT has a pretty good headsculpt of Bale and I just wouldn't be as excited to see another bale headsculpt as I would a young Deniro w/ mohawk.

I disagree on the fact that HT have a pretty good headsculpt of Bale. The likeness of it to Bale is as much as Brother Production's Taxi Driver figure (The Taxi Driver maybe actually better comparatively) Thus since a company has already done a Bickle figure and his accessories, and clothing are already available, I would rather see Bateman made as his range of expressions in the movie, along with his arsenal are just... epic

the more i watch the show, the more i love brad dourif's doc. and calamity jane makes me burst out laughing at least once an episode. i think swegen would be the obvious choice though, since he pretty much is deadwood.

I think the most sensible characters from the importance standpoint are Al and Bullock with Al being the obvious priority as you pointed out.

But Wild Bill, and Jane both have pretty cool looks as well and would make for a pretty unique looking piece of art, and I would buy Hearst on principle of him being the greatest TV villain ever imo. Farnum I would probably pick up too but thats more then pushing it.

Frankly all of the costumes are pretty stunning, even Tolliver's and Joanie Stubbs.

so hearst does actually show up... interesting. only at the end of season 2 at the moment. they're all such well designed characters and i'm amazed at how addictive the show is. and you're right - the outfits are great. previously, the best role i'd seen ian mcshane in was hot rod :lol but he's incredible as al. after season 1 i would have been inclined to want bullock more as a figure, but not now. i actually think farnum would be pretty cool, but i'd much rather have a JF than an EB.

Now that HT has officially announced that there will be NO CAPTAIN BARBOSSA figure as part of their POTC line, this has quickly jumped to the top of my list:

I think Plainview and The Man would look exceptional together. That would be some duo!!!

I think Viggo's best movie performance was this:

a-history-of-violence.jpg

though he's just. . .Viggo in jeans and a shirt. And TV's greatest all times villain is, of course, Mr. Burns.

I have to disagree with that. I love History of Violence and he was superb in it but The Road is his best performance to date imo.

I read during filming he actually slept outdoors in a horse stable for a period of time. The dirt you see under his finger nails and covering his beard and face is not make-up. His sheer determination and passion to be that character makes it a better performance for me.

viggo from the road would be cool. with a shopping cart and such.

one of his best films but he's had so many great roles it's hard to pick one. does anyone remember "the indian runner"? saw it a long time ago but remember being in awe of his performance in that. and i'll never forget his lucifer. almost stole the whole film.

Yeah, he's definitely had lots of memorable performances over the years, and you can't really go wrong with liking one over the other IMO. But the complexity and depth of the Violence performance puts that one over the top for me, even if it isn't as extreme as some others. I just love that movie. Anyway, a bit off topic, but there are some excellent Viggo sculpts here if folks haven't seen them:

i need to see history of violence again. i remember liking it the most out of the cronenberg movies he did. let's not forget LOTR either - viggo as aragorn was perfect casting and it almost didn't happen. those movies would definitely not be among my favourites if he wasn't in it.
