Walter's neck is quite different from the standard HT body necks, so may need to ask Rocco do a sculpted neck? May be an issue fitting it into the typical HT body though...will need to shave down the delts.
We need to collectively figure this out before Rocco or Moe gets to work though.

I think the head, neck and chest needs to be sculpted IMO so there are no joins - and this can be put ontop of the Kumik body?
And I think the legs need to be sculpted, but also allow to fit into boots with a peg...

Someone suggested that existing cargo pants would work. Does anyone know of some with an elastic waist or something? All the ones I can find online seem tailored to skinny bodies.

I think the Kumik is an option but I still think a fat suit would look better and you could put it on any body. If you look at the color disparity on one of the fat bodies it would be off and the one I saw had a built in neck. Plus the lower body is normal/skinny leg sized so you would still have to address that. Rocco has said he would sculpt the neck below the shirt line so I think any TT or similar body would work with a fat suit.
Currently there is the Patton fat suit out there and the upcoming churchill figure is an option for fat suits that I know of but I'm sure there are more.
I do know that if DAM toys makes cargo pants then you should check those out, their bodies have bigger wastes and sould work. I have a TT with a Patton fat suit on and the camo pants from a DAM figure will fit over all of that so that's an option if they make cargos.

I'm not sure on the General Patton and Churchill figures in terms of the manufacturer but I just got the Cotswald catalog yesterday and I believe both were in it so I can find out. I was able to get the Patton fat suit from Toy Anxiety a couple weeks ago when they parted out some of their stock.
Dam is a brand and they do a lot of military figures. I bought one of their "Black Hawk Down" figures for the weapons and accessories and held on to the body which is bigger at the waste and makes the pants bigger at the waste than TT bodies so when I put the fat suit from Patton on the TT the DAM pants fit over all of that perfectly and you can suff extra padding inside the fat suit to bulk up your figure to where you want it to be. I will just need to dye the clothes I have and I will have his Nam camo look when he wore pants.

I actually got this vest a while back when I was going to bash my Walter... It is a very good alternative, but hopefully Moe can make a more screen accurate one.
I can't seem to find the 'right' colour or type of shorts. As mentioned, the ones currently available would seem to be too tight - not loose. Hoping Moe can do the loose look shorts in correct colour also!
