I think that's exactly the response I got from the first girl I asked out on a date.

True Story.

:lol Stop entertaining me King, I'm stuck doing the most mundane design project of all time at work. Actually snorting coffee seems more appealing right now.

Sorry, sharing is good, and that denial, no matter how painful, has made you the pantz-less man you are today. We should celebrate that King. Without it you may have never achieved your full perve potential.

:lol

Re: RORY'S MODS: JOKER 2.0 REMOD/Museum '89 Joker/TOD Indy/BD Luke)

About that whole story I would just want to add something.

I have been working on figure since about 7-8 years.
I took a lot of commissions during that time. I don't devote all my time working on commissions. I also work on my own figures in between becasue I need that. I need some fresh hair while working on commissions othwerwise it would drive me crazy.

Working on other things helps to give you some fresh hair.

But accepting all the joker head with real hair THAT I admire. I have been applying real hair on a lot of figure and to hair just one is already crazy enough. So I can understand all the time that it takes.

Thanks man. Given the respect that you have on these boards, I really appreciate your post. I simply couldn't "do nothing else" for months, I would be crazier than I already am. :duff

I can understand having to step away from a commission to relax, decompress. And it working on other figures is your way of doing that than so be it. I could understand if Rory dropped off the face of the planet, but he's here every day and updates often.

Really looking forward to seeing those heads pop up in boardies hands. They're all done , right?

I've cleaned up the thread by removing PMs... however it is within a member's rights to air their concerns so that part has been left.

Personally I do agree with Elvis on this, commissions do take time and there is always the risk that delays can happen. In that case it is a customer's prerogative to request a refund or update if the time frame has gone past what was agreed on or is reasonably acceptable. And since a refund has been given (and I assume items sent back) then it should be considered resolved.

And working on projects while also commission is normal and not a general concern. For most it's assumed that creative break from "working" on commissions is healthy and leads to better work overall.

@King: thanks for making me spit coffee all over my monitor. I was just checking in but had to laugh out so loud that there was no holding back. :lol

@Rory: I can understand that. At least I can look forward to an amazing Eric Draven. :yess:

@Elvis: this is why I stopped directly after my first project. There is so much pressure in the customs-section. Of course people have paid for something and have a right for recent updates and a quick delivery but it is extremly tuff to achieve a good service. Thumbs up to guys like you, Nathan and Rory who somehow can manage this. I really respect that!

If I were a Premium Freak id give you a "like" for this post. Really need to send those 25 to Dave asap. :lol

Gung! Welcome man, delighted to see you back on the boards. This is a commissions thread for a select number of figures, but I have all sorts of stuff and open to discussions over in my "cave" thread.

Okay, got it ! See you in the other tread :)

By the way, some people are really ignorant and impossible to reason with - especially on the internet - and when you now have returned the money and everything, then the case should be closed ! There was no way necessary to keep on going on like that dude. You manage to keep it real and cool though - so no harm done to your reputation, character or integrity. This happens all the time - and it has happened to me, even when I do good stuff for free - some guys just dont see it that way and wants to make something completely bizzar "thing" out of it.... People are just "different" then us I guess :)

Don't let one negative experience ruin for the rest of us who knows you don't cheat or are a lazy bum - or what ever this guy wants you to appear in his mind.

Re: RORY'S MODS: JOKER 2.0 REMOD/Museum '89 Joker/TOD Indy/BD Luke)

I have no problem waiting, you've always kept an open line of communication and I appreciate that.

Re: RORY'S MODS: JOKER 2.0 REMOD/Museum '89 Joker/TOD Indy/BD Luke)

I understand the impatience, but Rory's updates seem to prove he's not farting around while everyone waits... That's a lot of awesome joker heads, and besides...

Working on other things helps to give you some fresh hair.

Sometimes we all need to take a break, step back, and get some fresh hair.

Yes, everyone could use a bit of fresh hair sometimes. Keep up the amazing work Rory! Take your time, I'm patient, just can't wait to see my new improved awesome Joker.

Just putting my quick two cents in. Rory, take your time. You've been giving regular updates, and that's all I need. I look forward to having in-hand your amazing work. I appreciate your integrity to make these perfect. As long as you don't disappear from the boards then I see nothing wrong with how long it's taking.

Also, King Darkness, you are the funniest mother****er... ever. Really.

Re: RORY'S MODS: JOKER 2.0 REMOD/Museum '89 Joker/TOD Indy/BD Luke)

Hey Rory, on the crow, did you take the all the molded hair off, or did you leave the little part in the front on? I read that you were going to redo it, just don't know when that was in your modding timeline. Ever thought about doing a dx02 joker?
