Looking forward to the pics. Thanks again for taking the time to make a great product and not just rush it and send out something substandard. I Can't wait for the crow list to be opened up.

Gents:
The said un-named member continued to send me what I consider unreasonable PM's, questioning other work that I have been doing (The Crow and General Grievous etc). I had enough of it to be honest, so I refunded him his fees and am shipping him back parts. I think it was my only course of action at this point, I really don't need the grief. It was particularly crazy because the Joker sets will be shipping in the next 10 days, but I felt his attitude was incredibly inappropriate, rude and aggressive.
Unfortunately when you deal with people on an open forum like this you have to deal with a wild variety of personalities. I just wanted to set the story straight in case he feels the need to start trouble in here. At which point I will get the mods involved.

:(

Now back to scheduled programming..

Re: RORY'S MODS: JOKER 2.0 REMOD/Museum '89 Joker/TOD Indy/BD Luke)

Does anyone else think it unprofessional that after receiving a 20+ person commission (totaling just about $4500 if not more) Rory has taken well over 5 months to complete this project while he finds time to extensively mod his general grievous figure AND scalp and re-hair a HT Crow figure among other things?

What that says to me is that there's no sense of urgency and a blatant disregard for the professional responsibilities incurred by him and that i believe is flat out insulting to all of those who originally commissioned him. I seen more than a few customizers all of sudden disappear and tuck tail when the work load and responsibilities got too much--some of them were very talented and previously to their breakdowns highly reliable.... In the time since commissioning Rory i'd noticed an unsettling behavior of procrastination and unprofessional attitudes predicated on excuse making instead of putting in the time to do something he was paid to do. He can claim all he wants that he's only trying to make sure the job gets done right but he's not fooling me. No matter how talented he is I won't put up with being treated insignificantly.

I sent him a PM this morning... It merely said that the time the project was taking was unacceptable. That I DIDNT want to make it public hence why i was sending a PM. I said 'you have my coat and my sculpt and my money'. He deemed the email to be aggresive and got very defensive providing me with an ultimatum. 1) wait until I'm done or 2) I will refund your money and send back your stuff.... I told him i didnt want the stuff or my money back... i wanted him to finish the job he was paid to do (OVER 5 MONTHS AGO). He didn't seem to like that I called him out for the constant modifications he has time to conduct on his own figures... i guess his collection and time are more important than his customer's happiness and his professional integrity.

I think its unacceptable. I suspect some of you will flock to his defense. I also suspect some of your are mad at how long this has taken. I won't stand by and pander to an artist just because he's good at what he does. My collection doesn't own me. I own it.

EDIT: I was so dissatisfied with Rory's responses via PM that I mentioned (After he had sent back a full refund despite me NOT asking for it) that I told him i would be supplying a negative review in this thread AND in the transaction feedback page. What was his response? To preemptively give me a negative feedback review before i had given him one. Secondarily to come in here and try to manipulate the reactions by once again preemptively posting that a client's negative feedback was imminent. I ask you.... why is he so worried if he acted in the right?

Your Indie is pretty much done, Chubby. Nearly everything will ship next week except MightyQ's Indy with the broken arm which I'm fixing for him.

The truth is it was both my prerogative and right as a paying customer to a)question the amount of time the commission was taking, b) confront you about it, c) voice my displeasure and d) demand a resolution. It's called doing business. It doesnt change the fact that its irresponsible of you to have delayed delivery on a project your were PAID on 5+ months ago.

You can say i'm rude. You can call me aggressive. But at least when it comes to professional endeavors i still have my integrity.

I suspect that if everyone does get their heads in the coming week that it will Be BECAUSE i came in hear an offered a voice to the displeasure. Because the fact is... if the heads were really ready you would have merely responded to my first message with that information. God forbid if everyone decided to demand their money back or open up paypal disputes to freeze your account.

Take it somewhere else Omar.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with that PM of mine you posted. It was at the end of hours of hassle from you.

I will say it again, how dare you tell me that I shouldn't work on other things in my OWN spare time.
I'm supposed to apologise to you for working up a Crow figure as a potential next project to offer up here?
Or I'm not supposed to have modded and (extensively shared by the way) a General Grievous project in my spare time?

Or I'm not supposed to take and post pics of figures? Or post at all, where does it end? oh.. Master?

Take your Joker head, your $250 and stick it so far up your arse that your are chewing plastic.

I'm not insulting you. I'm reviewing a commercial experience and providing feedback which the mods will agree is perfectly acceptable in a thread such as this. You are the one that will have to deal with the consequences of your professional irresponsibility.

Oh yeah, is this because of your own little business venture that went sour? There are quite a few things I could talk to the mods about as well.
Haven't you caused enough hassle?

Re: RORY'S MODS: JOKER 2.0 REMOD/Museum '89 Joker/TOD Indy/BD Luke)

Additionally I think it's a slap in the face to all the customers who are waiting for you to finish a commission that's already paid for whilst you prepare a second upcoming commission project. Especially when you appear to have bitten off more than you can chew (by your own admission) and have no history of being able to deliver in mass commissions.

If you wanted to work on personal projects at least have the common decency to keep it to yourself instead if flaunting it As a slap in the face to us

Re: RORY'S MODS: JOKER 2.0 REMOD/Museum '89 Joker/TOD Indy/BD Luke)

I'm gonna try and ignore this guy.
He threatened me with doing this earlier, which is why i posted about it before he had an opportunity to do so.

Failed venture?! "Few things"?! Huh?! What are you talking about?

And no I haven't caused enough hassle... Because I think other customers both present and future have the right to know how u operate.

20+ Ledger Jokers: Entire back of plastic head removed, ears resculpted, face resculpted, eyelids resculpted, nose chin reworked, face repainted, hair three tone dyed for realism, face touch up and repaint...

And here is my photography thread, which I guess according to Wake I'm also not supposed to work, post, enjoy myself in:

As one of Rory customer, I have no issue with him working on his own figures in his own time. The Time frame doesnt bother me either, i and everyone else know Rory will deliver a top notch job on his project. He has kept everyone updated with posts and pictures as you can see.
