Re: RORY'S MODS: JOKER 2.0 REMOD/Museum '89 Joker/TOD Indy/BD Luke)

Perfect! Don't change a thing.

What kind of hair are you using Rory?
:lol
It's tibetan yak hair. Expensive enough but if you treat it right, you can get nice small curls and it feels right for 1/6th. Dyeing it is a bollox though. This Joker hair had to be dyed and tinted about 4 times to get it right. It only comes off the shelf in a few standard colours which look dollish.

Bollox.

Speaking of bollox.

Mighty Q? PM me please. Just looked at the Indy Muscle body you sent me, and sorry to report it has a dislocated arm.
100% didn't happen whilst being shipped as you had it wrapped in bubble and a big box. And I haven't touched it until now.
So not sure what the story is. Your Indy head and 89 Joker heads are complete. I was just about to weather your clothing. I can try and fix it for you, but can't guarantee anything, as they are difficult TT's to take apart.

(I will PM you now as well)..

:(

Please put me down on the list for the crow

Re: RORY'S MODS: JOKER 2.0 REMOD/Museum '89 Joker/TOD Indy/BD Luke)

Anyone know where I would find a really really small hairdryer and comb?
:lol

That's what I'm talking about! :rock

We've already seen a dozen other Jokers from every scene and make up its time for behind the scenes $***. This is ' Just Out of Bed Joker'!
HT was already kind enough to supply us with the robe with the DX11 so this will come with a bedroom dio complete with pajamas and fuzzy purple slippers.

Definitely in for The Crow when spots become available.

No, no. No new commissions ATM.

He could have a cigarette hanging out of the corner of his mouth as well. :lol

Yes! -New idea.

White Trash Joker

Same bedroom dio, but this Joker is in a dirty wife beater and tighty whities. Imagine your Joker displayed sitting on the side of his messy bed, skinny legs and knobby knees with a fresh Marlboro sticking out of his mouth. Complete with a bedside table with ashtray overflowing with butts. :rock

Re: RORY'S MODS: JOKER 2.0 REMOD/Museum '89 Joker/TOD Indy/BD Luke)

Hello ALL (Not just my Ledger Joker customers)..
I have received a huge amount of communication about this modded Crow I did recently. I MAY, repeat MAY, decide to do this as my next project.
It depends on two things, interest from you lot and me working out an economical and time efficient way of doing it (I've learnt a lot with the Joker heads!)..
I love The Crow, and whilst I enjoyed the HT stock version, I could see that it was perfect to be elevated.
Anyway, please don't PM me about this. They are clogging up my commissions inbox. Would this be something you are interested in?

Absoposolutely! I already bought an extra head for you to work your magic!

Re: RORY'S MODS: JOKER 2.0 REMOD/Museum '89 Joker/TOD Indy/BD Luke)

I'm totally interested in the Crow mod. Also, would you considering modding the General Grievous figure? Saw yours in the General Grievous thread and man it looks phenomenal!!!

I'm interested in this all the way head and body as well, and whenever you are ready please add me to the list.

looking at picking up the crow myself so would be interested mate if i do pick the figure up.

Re: RORY'S MODS: JOKER 2.0 REMOD/Museum '89 Joker/TOD Indy/BD Luke)

Thanks for all the interest and patience guys. Keep you posted on upcoming projects. I will 100% be doing Crow/Scissorhands and some more Jokers (as well as a new as yet unseen Joker project). Ledgers are pretty much done. Hair to finish futzing.

Grievous was way too complicated to take on as a commission I'm afraid man. :(

@MIGHTYQ: Your broken Indy arm. I found a matcher that I had from Captain America, I will try and surgically attach it at the weekend. Thankfully it's the sleeved arm on TOD Indy so you shouldn't notice the difference. No charge.

What is this unseen joker mod you speak of? I guess I better pick up the crow then.

I want to get a musuem joker repaint

Re: RORY'S MODS: JOKER 2.0 REMOD/Museum '89 Joker/TOD Indy/BD Luke)

All Commissions still closed. Ledger Jokers will be shipped latest end of next week, as well as current Indy and Museum Joker commissions.
MightyQ your Indy may take a little longer because of having to fix his arm.

Thanks for your patience (almost everyone) I will then open up commissions again, don't worry I will give advance notice and an organised time for opening on the smaller runs, I know there are lots of people wanting Crows and Scissorhands.

Cheers guys

Rory

Edit: By the way, I just received a pretty aggressive PM from a disgruntled Ledger Joker client, who threatened coming on here to stir up **** with the rest of you. This was after I had offered him an immediate full refund and new parts if he didn't want to wait or was unhappy with the service. I apologised repeatedly but told him to do whatever he felt he should, that I would not tolerate threatening or aggressive behavior via PM or anywhere else.

I'm doing my best guys, I'm completely aware it's taken longer than it should, but as I said before it has been a learning curve for me and I continuously improved the processes which I used to create the heads and attach the hair. As you can see from the pic below, I have spent a tremendous amount of care and attention on these heads and the delays have been totally my fault. I just didn't want to send anything out that I was not happy with. He has been the only one of you who hasn't been totally supportive by the way, and for that I thank you all. As any artist working on a commission basis will tell you it's hard to balance real world work and artistic commission work, things sometimes take longer than they should, but I strive to provide the best quality possible, anyone who has already received work from me can hopefully vouch for that.

Behind you 100%, these pieces of art are certainly worth the wait. :duff
