Thanks to have me added on the outfit, I'm glad I got the last chance:yess:
Just want to be sure : does payment includes the printed patch on jeans, or does it need an extra cost ?
Also I'm posting a pic of the Chambray shirt MsMurphy wears on movie (with 2 front pockets), just in case...

Updated 1st post.

Great progress, we only have 1 person remaining to
pay on outfit. We still have a great chance to get the finished product
in Jan. 12 weeks from now puts us at Feb 1st, and that would be if it
took the full 12 weeks. So here's hoping that last person pays this week.

I'm shipping the leather out on Saturday via priority. So it would be there
within 6-10 days. But once paid they can start on the other items while they
wait for the leather.

So now this crazy thing is really hopping...:lol

So here is the research I did on the Jacket. A little hard at first, until
I found the name of the company that made the one for the film.
Looks like that same company that made it(cockpit) is still in business today.

The jacket was originally based off of Cockpits Oil Rig jacket. Then for the film was
modified with A-2 like features: Cotton/Elastic waist & wrist accents. But kept a lot of
the style from the Oil Rig jacket. Here are some of the pictures going to Geewhiz.

A few of you had questions or concerns about the sculpts and the top of hat.

I did have to clean up seam lines that went against the grain of some of the
lines in the top of the hat. What I did was to clean them up as much as
I could while trying to keep the design intact as much as I could.
.
This did include sanding down the seam lines and re-carving
the lines on the top of the hat to help blend back together.
Sometimes some slight discoloration occurs, but that shouldn't effect anything.

I cleaned them up to the point, where I think they'll be smooth enough to paint.
If I didn't think they would look fine once painted, I didn't send them out.
I did my best to make them look as good as possible, even did it under 40x magnification. :lol

Still if anyone isn't happy with that clean up, they can send them back
and I can try to replace it with another from the second run.

Still waiting on one person to pay for the outfit. Sent PM and posted in thread.

I'll give them until the 19th like the others on the second run sculpts.
After that, we'll move forward without them. Sent another PM to reflect
that.

SO been talking with Geewhiz today. Says the Chambray shirt would
look better with 2mm white nail heads for buttons. Because actual buttons only
come in 3mm. So they would look out of scale.

I agree, but just wanted to put it out there for everyone and see what you thought.

So it would be in scale 2mm white nail heads for buttons and have a thin piece of Velcro
to close the shirt.


And Ishothimsixtimes did contact me today and we are a go.
He just said to apologized to everyone, he had a real life issue to take
care of. I told him no apologize needed, real life always comes first.

Just waiting on updated invoice from Geewhiz, as soon as I get it, I'll pay
and we're on our way. A few weeks later than I had hoped, but still
we should have the outfits finished no later than the 1st or second week of Feb.

I updated 1st post to reflect that.

Sounds good. Hope they use a thin small amount of Velcro so it lays flat and smooth.
