I was wondering what had happened to this project, and then I find out I had somehow unsubscribed from this thread... :slap

So it was a pleasant surprise to see that the Emily Exo suit is in progress, and it looks great! :yess:

I would also prefer articulated guns, but between "ready to shoot" and "stand by" (does that mean folded flat onto her back?), I vote for "stand by." As long as the giant sword gets made, I'm happy. I know it's still early, but do you have an idea how much more expensive it might be to have the articulated guns instead of static ones? That might sway some of the votes for articulated guns...

if it will be easier and cost us a little less, I don't mind having 2 separate cannon sets, one ready to fire and one resting on her back. would hate to break a $500+ custom.

Will c, guys I think we can make this stuff articulated, but need to be sure that the shore will b strong enough to carry a gun. The first variant was so flexible, that can be articulated like a real snake, but was very soft on a fixation and had too many details to assemble and cast

Couple of pre-final prototype - still have something to add and fit Sword - i think we will make it bugger

YOYOYOOOOOO!!!!!! I have 2 things to tell to y`all!

1) Our guns will be articulated We had to produce ''stand by'' though, for those, who will display it as a ''keep calm, tomorrow is a d-day'' style, but 2 additional sticks are articulated. Now u can shoot wherever u like and, i`m very happy with this, the final quantity of details reduced from 18 to 8 Check it out!)

2) First casted set received - wow, this stuff is amazing. Now i`m completely sure that our Tom`s suit is a bad ass! It will be drilled/pre-assembled and sent to our painting crew! Plus, 8 sets are already on their way to me to work on em for u, boyz and girls The rest will be ready in a week or so. Still a lot of work, but **** - i`m so exited with this stuff!)

What are you casting the objects in? I am curious about a world I'm just starting to explore - thank you very much also for accepting me inside this project despite the late arrival

Wow, the Emily suit is looking more phenomenal each time around! I was thinking of picking up another figure in the next couple months, but it looks like I may be saving up for this instead.

What body is the Emily suit being designed for? Would a regular Hot Toys female body work? (that might be what's in the pictures, but I honestly can't tell)

Yo, guys Here aer some news for y`all

1) Tom - I have all casted copies on hands, so now i have 816 to clean, drill and assemble I hope it will take couple of weeks or so to prepare em for shipping, but don`t shoot if it will take some more time

2) Tom - we are on the 3rd stage of the deposits due to our plan,so i hope to receive till december 20th. Feel free to PM me if u have any questions

3) Tom again - i`m happy to say, that 2 first copies was shipped to our painters, we will have some WIPs soon i hope, choose the version with a better result and those who are interested in painted sets can c what will they get

4) Emily - final size and articulation tests completed, we will use standard Hot Toys Female body for Exo. Set will include Exo and Guns. As for Tom`s Gun addon - it will include Helmet, Guns, Backpack, Vest plates and will come as an additional set, so stay tuned

5) Emily - model is ready for final printing, so deposits are open. As u can c we already have our first supporter (thanks, Slade), so i hope y`all will support us on this Exo - the rules are the same - 15 sets to make the price stable, 1 deposit to send it to the printing So, the price is the same with Tom`s Exo - they are different, but the quantity and summary size of details are the same for a soulless printing machine, lol So $552 + shipping, deposit system is the same - $138 per stage. Deposits must be made till december 22nd, to sendit for printing before New Year vacations




Damn! Can`t wait these 2 on my shelves I will show some WIPs of the figures - clothes, pads etc. If you`re making some preparations - feel free to share - very interested to c em`

Does the Emily exo come with both the articulated and folded sets of guns, as well as the sword? And is the latest picture the final prototype version of the suit? Because her sword still looks a bit small.

Check page 25, one back, and read Woodrobs post about Emily where he states about making the sword larger.

This is such an awesome thread. I am so grateful someone who had the desire, abiliy and resources made the huge effort and put this together. As far as rare pieces go this is going to one for the Model and Figure history books. This is the new age of 3D print work instead of old school molding and casting. Not just a standard head sculpt and clothing set either. This stuff here is in a class all by itself. It's going to be hard to put them down...can't wait to start posing these for photos.. *has a huge amount of enthusiasm* woohoo...

I did see the post, which is why I asked about it. The sword looked the same size in the other picture, so I wanted to see if that was indeed the final version. And I'm glad to see it wasn't.

Yeah, our baby goes wit a huge guns and sword, Plus, check this - we are 100% sure, that Sly`s HS looks awesome with this set!

I think it could be a bit longer, but the new sword looks much, much nicer. Just to double/triple check, she'll come with four guns, right? Two folded and two articulated? I know both sets were pictured in an earlier post, but I just want to make sure that both sets will be included (as opposed to only getting one pair of guns).
