This is definately one of the best sculpts I've seen around here. Makes me wish I collected comic book stuff, but I just can't open up another well that I can fall into, :lol. Otherwise I'd be all over this.

IMO this is the perfect character to use the ACI Andrew body, especially the battle damaged one. I think other bodies are just too damn skinny.

That is correct or sort of true, I'll be chopping those necks off and it will be a flat surface waiting to be drilled on the unpainted versions.

Only painted versions will be fully pre-drilled for muscle bodies, etc...

Hmm.... I see..., let me know when it's ready, might just get a painted version save me some trouble....

Wolverine didn't have an applebottom though. :dunno

I admit to being more focused on the broad shoulders and buffness than the ass. :lol I think Andrew is the perfect build for the character as portrayed in the comics and cartoon. The TTM is too skinny.

The hips create a problem though. They don't look right, least of all, natural.

I agree! Ordered one yesterday for this sculpt!:yess:

I'm fine with it on the gladiator. Of course he's only wearing loin cloth. Never tried putting normal pants on him, will have to give it a try and see what I think, but I doubt its that noticable. We are talking about the same figure right? The ACI, not the Kaustic??

Please post a pic when you get the jeans on.

Ok. I don't know if these pictures tell anything, but here goes. What I can tell you is that finding pants that actually fit him was pretty hard! These are I believe from the old 007 Teehee figure. The difficulty in finding the pants to fit, IMO isn't because he has a disproportionate derriere but because his whole body is wide. Which in terms of Wolvie you would have to say is what he should be...unless you're going for the movie version.

Sorry for this crappy blurry photo. Last photo before my camera died.

I used some packing tape and measured around the torsos of the TTM muscle, green and the ACI Andrew, orange. I used the belly button as a center point. You can see the ACI is a half inch (about 10%) wider than the TTM. To me, thats the type of girth (if not more) that he needs. He can't be the same size as other characters on the shelf. Finding pants that fit...thats another story.

Hey Ski,
Any idea on when the painted head with claws may ship? Please don't think I'm rushing you, I'm just super excited bout this sculpt....

Just got my ACI body, it's the painted one. On one hand, I'm estatic, it's awesome!! :yess: On the other hand, pun intended...it comes with a set of relaxed hands, a set of shooting hands, a set of gripping hands and another identical set of gripping hands!! NO FISTS!! Damn.

Might have to be ordering a set of fists now... Big ol' fists they'd have to be. I do have nice set of claws already, had them for a number of years, waiting for the right Wolvie sculpt. Made of stainless steel...

Ski....

Hey guys, thanks for stopping by and checking on me, hmmm on the painted ones I'm trying to sneak him in there with a painted version soon with the run of my Nomaks.

I have a few of those guys to take out and then I can start one and give you a preview.

I'll be cutting the necks off soon on those who have paid, so if any of those folks want to PM me their address, I'll keep them on file until it's time for all then to ship. It shouldn't take me long to cut them off, I'll probably start that on Friday which is my next WFH day.

Just another FYI, I'm not selling just claws, sorry. I don't have interest in making claws for a lifetime on the boards. It's just an option for those who are purchasing the headsculpt(s).

Thanks,

Ski

Ok, I know I'm going to kick myself in the butt for this but I'm going to ask which is preferred:

Claws:
1) movie?
2) comic?
3) comic gloves blades?
4) comic hands blades?

If I make them all, I'm just gonna die. :D
