After considering the length of the neck being indeed too long, I'm going to go ahead with the fix. I don't feel it's right to put the work of cutting off excess on the majority of fellas that felt the neck was too long.

If the neck needs shortening i'd rather do it myself.

No offense, but it's easier for me to shorten the necks than have to add extra length if you cut it too short for the bodies i'm using as they are 2 different types.

Second, it looks like most people want no neck casts.

Why should i have to pay an extra expense for another mould or go to the hassle of making the neck bigger?

The neck looks fine in the pic's, just shorten it yourself if you think it needs it.

First off, I am getting one, just not on the list. :wink1: Feel free to PM Ski if you need verification. :lol

Second, regardless of what "most" want, why should everybody getting the sculpted necks have to cut theirs because a single person thinks "it looks fine" and wants it longer? That makes absolutely no sense at all, unless you somehow think yourself better than everybody else. :cuckoo:

Third, it looks too long in pics, and too long in person. It can be hidden a bit with the shoulder holster and the coat stacked up around the neck, but that doesn't change the fact that it is too long and is obviously so when wearing just the T-shirt.

I thought (and probably Ski did too) that you were talking about the Avenger head. You realize that's just the WIP showing the face, and not a finalized sculpt, right? :lol

I'm absolutely 100% positive he'll line it up next to a standard HT head with a sculpted neck to use as comparison, before the sculpt is finalized and baked for casting.

Yeah i know it's WIP but Ski's talking about making the neck shorter than on the Avenger head which looks fine as is to me. I plan to replace it with his sculpt and if the neck's shorter it'll look off.

He asked for opinions and i gave mine.

Also, i plan to use the 2nd cast on a totally different body than the Avenger one and again, if the neck is too short it will look bad.

I have not yet found a way to add length to a neck with leaving a visible scar line, even after painting.

The neck on the Avenger figure is almost 1/2" too long. Even on the ArtFigures body it's too long:

Ok, sorry I missed all the action. (Had dinner with the wife)

Again I appreciate the anticipation for this sculpt and the interest it has brought, so I wanted to thank everyone for participating.

No offense taking at all sir and I respect your opinion. I believe as with all my sculpts I will make this the standard neck length of Hot Toys heads as that is what I try to achieve with all my art and hold them as the top 1/6 figure company. So at this point all I can do is assure that it will be normal 1/6 scale length as a Hot Toys headsculpt.

If there's any problem at all, I stand by all my products until someone is satisfied. I've been doing runs for a while and have a pretty good track record, so if something is wrong (which so far hasn't happened ray then I will try the best in power to fix it.

I'll actually post some pics with the head on top of the Art Figure to show correct neck length (I'm sure everyone will be pleased) as I have him ready to compare amongst neck scale etc...

I'll be back in a few, gotta spend some quality time with the wife, I'm sure everyone will be satisfied!!! :rock
