Re: 1/6 Deadpool Red & Grey outfit by T&C custom

The black on the pants looks pretty much spot on to me. In 9 out ot 10 suit designs the black goes down to halfway between the waist and the knees just like Tony's. I think because there's no belt on him to "break up" the black it just has the illusion of being shorter than it really is.

Great that you're doing this with paint! It's easier for you and easier for our wallets ;-)

Re: 1/6 Deadpool Red & Grey outfit by T&C custom

We will take Customer's view into account. But we will only do one pattern and not different one for everyone. Which one would you like? Post pictures here for reference. Thank you.
Since you are taking opinions, I might prefer (uh oh, I'm not sure how to explain it :lol) the thin black part on the chest area, that is angled upwards, to be more horizontal, thicker, & maybe shorter. Similar to these pics:

Seeing a bulked up Deadpool, I'm starting to also want these made for the Arnold type Kaustic bodies now :slap

Very nice! Anyone else? Because We are working on the pattern this weekend. We need the decision to be made ASAP. We are NOT planning to offer more than one design.....

Hey tony great work! Im interested, is there any way you could make the bands on the suit that separate the black from red? Kinda like this pic? You can see it really well on his arm, its also on his chest and legs I think that would look really good

But I agree with lawrence, the chest lines would look nice if they where thicker, this is just my opinion tho and what id like to see

Re: 1/6 Deadpool Red & Grey outfit by T&C custom

Could probable do it with some thick thread and careful gluing.

Let us see what we can do. We have that planned :wink1:

Any better pictures for better reference? We have an idea of what we want, if everyone can provide a better picture reference, it'll be much easier for us to set the pattern in stone.

Now asking toon much, haha.... Yes, we have that in mind and we will be doing some pipping like type of design. Got to understand one thing, more work for us is fine, but are people willing to pay the extra cost for Crystal n our effort? We'll do it anyways just to show what we are capable of doing. Limited numbers of course.

Btw, the black pattern on the suit will be printed on, we gonna test put this method this coming week, will show pictures n update soon. First thing first, pick the style you all like, then we gonna make our final prototype.

Hey Tony,
Off topic...but..Do you think a spider man costume would ever be possible?
I've always wanted a 1/6 comic spider man..and while the hot toys version is alright...It's...well...not comic spidey.heh

The web pattern would probably make it pretty difficult though I'm guessing...

Re: 1/6 Deadpool Red & Grey outfit by T&C custom

K this is my thinking. What you have initially is perfectly fine. I would be more concerned about keeping prices reasonable. That way, if someone does want to make a couple small modifications, they can afford to make a mistake.

Black Spidey comic version n Venom is what we have in mind, no movie style, love the movie, but not a fan of the design.

I agree with Lawrence regarding the stripes on the chest being more horizontal. The bulky version not so much.....sorry Lawrence ;-)

I can definately live without the piping to frame the black parts but it might be good for you & Crystal just to show off a kind of prototype just to show the high rollers among us (I'm def not one) what you're capable of and that you're the go-to team for comissions of extremely datiled super hero suits!

Re: 1/6 Deadpool Red & Grey outfit by T&C custom

I prefer the more slanted style like the prototype. I am building my Deadpool to represent the 1990s version I grew up with, to me the new one is too cartoonish/soft looking as a whole.

I know Rob Liefeld isn't too popular, and I agree most of the times his art looks beyond ridiculous, but for nostalgia alone, I prefer to make my figures based on how they looked when i was into the comics, example Liefeld X-Force and Jim Lee X-Men.

Re: 1/6 Deadpool Red & Grey outfit by T&C custom

I only recently got into Deadpool - Danny Way run...yeah I know he messed up Wolverine Origins pretty bad but I really like him on Deadpool, always makes me laugh! I looked at some of the original stuff but just couldn't get into it. This is just my opinion but I can't stand his early "artwork" and even he draws him with the black stripes horizantaly in more recent times like DPC for instance.

Anyway everyones got their own opinions and views so I think if anyone else is more into the horizontal stripes now's the time to speak up and let Tony know.

:lol No worries :1-1:

Tony, could I also buy a 12"x12" sheet of the red material you are using? I have an idea for something to add myself later, but not sure if I'm going to go through with it, but I wouldn't mind having some of the same material handy :D

We will go with the Horizontal version for everyone. And yes we'll show off our pipping version, but not available for sale.

We personally like the slanted style more, it's old school and harder to make. If we do make our own that way, you got a special Jack :wink1: no gurantee.

Most likely the horizontal style :yess:

We barely have enough for this project and not planning to offer after this run. So no extra for you.
