The Beto brand and quality (that I hear of) are surely factors affecting value, but with Jason I can't imagine he's gonna be as popular as Beetlejuice in the long run.

I say what I mean & I mean what I say broski :wink1:. I've been thrown some serious offers thus far for some of my pieces and till now the answer has always been.... thanks but no thanks.

I guess partly because I'm very selective on the customs that I drop big money on. I've never had an impulse buy on a high end custom to date and I only grab the pieces that I really want. Whatever profit I can make on them isn't greater to me than owning the piece. One day that money will be gone and so will the piece so it's not worth it :dunno

Yeah I'm still figuring things out.
Through trial and error I am discovering my taste.

Fair enough, Beto never gives warning so you shouldn't have expected him to this time but you still have the right to be displeased. If you want one get your wallet out and make some offers you never know your luck.

Seriously, the jason list took like 3 days to fill the final spots, so I don't see that happening.

It is the creme de le creme though! There are those SS B/C level figures but this is by far the definitive Jason fig from any part to date!

But you're right as far as the following; slasher flicks and other types of horror are way more niche then something like Beetlejuice. The lists in themselves speak volumes

Well the beetlejuice figure sold out in a couple of minutes at a waked out time in the early AM. Jason was there for 3 days for all to see.

Kind of like comparring Anton with Vince of Rainman figs. The last fullset Anton was there for 3 weeks plus before it sold out. Vince literally gone in seconds, and a bunch of people complaining they didn't get one. Right off the bat the Vince is way more valuable then Anton.

I don't think that could be determined right now.
Noone has sold a fullset Anton yet. Judging from past Rainman releases one should have popped up in the F/S thread by now.

But that last set didn't linger straight. There were sets that went up and down (as they usually do) for the first, whatever, few weeks. But it initially sold out on day one like most of his offerings.

I dont believe that was on the secondary market. Someone bought it from Rainman when one popped up and after they had bought a clothing set. So they ended up selling their clothing set (I think thats how it went down)

There's always confusion after a Rainman purchase and some have two figures in their cart :slap

Doc was being resold like crazy until it stabilized and now you can't find a full or DX anywhere.

I sold my Doc for 1200 at the same time someone sold theirs for 700.

Value is what the seller and buyer agrees to so you are right that another Beetlejuice might not sell for 2200 again. I just dont see anyone selling theirs period.

Edit: but you have already proved me wrong by snatching beetlejuice from someone. Congrats
