Everything looks great but would like to see the recorder a tad bit larger. Great job on everything so far!

Updates!

I got the prints. I'm satisfied with the badge and lapel.

Please give feedback on the size of the recorder. That's the classic HT TT left "pointer/trigger" hand. Hot Toys hands are slightly over-sized.

The recorder size has to be finalized before getting the acrylic cut or doing the decals.

2. For the trenchcoat, I found a fabric that is a perfect color, but it probably is too heavy. I will have to play around with it.

3. I am playing around with the design of the tie, trying to make the knot look more realistic. I may get a new test print, darkening the red a bit.

Thoughts on the size of the recorder?

I think it can be just a tad bigger. I'm glad you've mentioned sizes cause I had no idea how to tell ya. That badge is so funny to me because I carry one and I never knew that was the badge used. It's a variation of the one I carry[emoji23]. I'm happy with the tie as the pattern looks great. I think a slight thickness would also be great because I have some ties that won't stay in place and it irks the crap out of me[emoji13].

Great job thus far and I'm glad to be in on these goodies.

I will definitely have a striped tie, and possibly the rest (minus the watch), depending on costs.

What decals are you planning to do for the recorder and will they need to be applied after/over a paint job? Also wondering if the FBI badge and lapel will have some kind of pin or fastener? A one-sixth lapel pin is pretty tiny! Especially for a paint job.

I got some more fabric samples today for the trenchcoat, but am still not satisfied. Next week I am going to be near a huge fabric store and can hopefully find something.

I misplaced my 1:6 watches, which I wanted to use to estimate the size. I will get the watch done this week. I am going to sculpt the face and use a laser-cut clear piece to form the jewel-case. The band will be sculpted. If anyone has any suggestion of what time the watch should be set to, like a reference to the show, please chime in.

I'll include a strip of black pleather or leather to glue on the back after painting it in order to create a loop for the belt to go through. I thought of printing a clip onto the piece, but it will lay flatter against the belt and be less fragile with the way I envision.

Hunterdnc can do white ink decals on clear, which is critical, so yes, they will need to be applied after painting the recorder. There will also be a decal for the casette tape label before you glue in the clear window.

Yeah, the lapel pin is tiny, but I'm happy with the result. Just use a tiny bit of poster putty to hold it in place on a toothpick or something to paint.

Ok, thanks SP. Sounds good. Keen to see how it progresses. What would be a good paint or the like to use to give the lapel a sliver finish?

Awesome! Regarding the time, based on this reference photo it appears the time is about 8:25. Unless there is a more significant time in the show, that may be an appropriate time for setting the watch.

I'd like to recommend 3:15 for the time as it was referenced in the latest ep of the new season. More important it was Coop's room number at the Great Northern!

The pin is sort of a steel color, not shiny silver. I was going to use "steel" from Model Masters. I may just paint these for people because they are so quick and simple. That way you don't have to buy paint just for it.

As for the watch, 3:15 is a cute idea, but the oroblem is the minute and hour hands are in the same position. I think the 8:25 looks good.

How about 11:30am? His first line of dialogue:

"Diane, 11:30 a.m., February Twenty-fourth. Entering the town of Twin Peaks, five miles south of the Canadian border, twelve miles west of the state line. I've never seen so many trees in my life. As W. C. Fields would say, I'd rather be here than Philadelphia."

Actually I like that because it relates to the show, but has visually-suitable separation of the minute and hour hands.

Great idea! I like this one too!

I think 11.30 or 3.15 sounds good, and it would be great if you could paint the pins for those odering :hi5:

I am still not sure who I am getting to paint my Cooper head. Have been in touch with a few guys that appear to have good work on instagram. It works out really expensive having to pay for the head and it shipped to me, and then ship it back overseas for paint and then back again. Good think a Cooper is the only real true custom I need. I don't think customs will become a habit for me haha.

Just have it mailed directly to the painter.
