to tell you the truth, ROVO made a very very nice sculpt(70%) of this.
but unfortunately, the head wasn't for original movie, looks to me 3,4

so..I had to ask him again.
but unfortunately, he had something came up for his personal creative work after Rooney, he couldn't keep this collarboration.

As a fan of this movie, and the start was collarboration, I wanted to keep this project as collaboration.

luckily, the artist said yes and this project would even go better.

Yeah, my guess is that was the sculpt initially anticipated to go with the Iminime figure, then scrapped when (I guess) Denny realized it was from the wrong film.

Not to be disrespectful or negative but I don't understand why he couldn't finish? If he had 70% done, why stop and not finish? :dunno If another project came up, shouldn't he have committed to this project just like he's now committed to his new one? I don't know. Thinking out loud here. It's a fantastic 70%. Shame it's never gonna be released.

Who knows what kind of agreement they had? From my understanding, a lot of these guys are friends (or at least, friendly acquaintances), so there's also that. And then, you wouldn't want to burn potential future collaborations by making some demands of a sculptor if it just didn't seem worth the effort. . .seems like there are lots of potential explanations for why it went unfinished.

Rovo sculpt looks pretty much perfect to me for what it is supposed to be. This is quite a claim.

THIS project is progressing nicely. The delays are due to some exciting possibilities we are not ready to discuss yet.

worst case scenario this figure will be PO ready by mid year.

Doesn't work like that.

The list gauges interest, we then get updates and then eventually the figure goes up for pre-order on cinemascale and anyone can order. You then pay within 5 days.
