Getting much closer. Cheeks still too chiseled. Need to be a little puffier/fuller.

Yeah I agree, face needs to be fuller. It will lose some definition in the printing process I've heard. Overall it's looking great

The print will capture all the details don't worry about that. Casting is the only step where any detail could get lost at all.

Ah gotcha, I remember it was one of the processes that would make the sculpt lose detail. I always thought it was the printing with digital sculpting.

still a little down that my set has not showed up yet but i'm working with earl to see what may be some potential options....


my contribution to the sculpt is that it is still too chiseled...he had a round puffy face in his 20s-30's which made him look younger....if he basically gets rid of some of the wrinkled details in the sculpt...it will come out looking like Eddie...he is at 85% with the likeness so that lil bit may help him out more...his neck also has to be a little skinnier....

No doubt that's Eddie! Love how it turned out, agree about the cheeks but that's a minor issue for me as the likeness is fantastic.

That's not the look we're going for, that expression is serious. So it's not a fair reference picture, we're going for the Classic Eddie Murphy smirk and it's shaping up great.
