The only suggestion on the hand front that I have is maybe a neutral left hand? It would look weird being clenched if one is holding the gun? Its not necessary, but just a suggestion.

If folks really want a relaxed hand, we would have to all agree on it since it would certainly drive up the price.

Yup! It's the MAUSER C96. There's quiet a few of them on eBay. I myself got one from the Hot Toys Panzer Figure that just released. Has great detail!
Here is a pic of it next to the Medicom Mauser which is slightly smaller in size...as is everything Medicom :lol

Hey Fellas!
First off, I want to thank everyone for sending their deposits in and also waiting patiently while Yunsil got to us in her busy schedule. Happy to present the PROTO for the ROCKET MAN Outfit! :rock
I want you guys to check it out and express any feelings you might have. Trying to make the definitive outfit that will never be replicated :lol
MarfMaster and I have been critiquing things behind the scenes and have some notes to pass along to Yunsil. But i definitely want to here what you all think since we are all in this together!
Some notes that Yunsil has made in case you cant read her font size:
-Jacket material and color is not final one that will be used. She has a picture of the fabric below which I think is perfect. More caramel, than burnt orange. She is trying to find one that has less texture than the one shown. Her material used is much thinner than the one used on the Medicom.
- Happy to announce that Yunsil has created buttons for us especially for this release
In the photo below she actually made 2 sizes and recommends us using the smaller sized button that she has on the shoulder strap. Marf and I strongly agrees with her on this and hope you guys do too.
And these are our notes that we gathered so far:
-Zipper track should end so that the top of the zipper barely shows above the top of the front flap. Zipper should be silver. Also, a smaller zipper would be ideal.
-Front flap should extend a few mm below waist line of jacket
-Check taper of front flap (from top to bottom) and angle of bottom for accuracy
-Shoulder straps should be longer and button closer to collar
-Side waist and wrist strap buckles should be gold

Just full of updates today!
Happy to announce that FULLMETAL has agreed to create HARNESSES for this project :rock
Been speaking with Dave and with Jon finalizing the harness was able to get a price.
Each Harness will cost $80 each. If you are not aware of Jon's work please check out his thread in the CUSTOMS SECTION. You will see the harness there and its all types of badassery.
Now some notes. For the public version FULLMETAL will be offering, the HARNESS WILL NOT have the custom metal buckles he used for the private commission. Those are very very expensive and we agreed to keep cost down for this. Jon will instead be using Bra Hooks for this public release of the harness. Should be fine since the jacket covers the front of harness.
I would also like to thank the private commissioners of this harness (Jetpack/Helmet Commission) for allowing Jon to offer this to us. Very cool of them, and very much appreciated! You know who you are! Many, many thanks!
The Jetpack hit a bump in the printing, but has since been resolved. We are scheduled to get the 3D prints later this week and will begin casting in metal for tests soon after. Will have another update for you guys on that front hopefully later next week.
