The yunsil outfit does work with the old harness right? As long as the measurements are the same it should be ok. Will the new jetpack be compatible with the old harness as well?

Yes I believe it will. Yunsil currently has my Medi jetpack and harness as reference. The harness she made is also undersized, but doesnt change location of shoulder strap or waist strap which is good. I think you will be fine. And yes, new Jetpack will work with both Fullmetal harness and medi.

Love everything so far. With Marf on the case, rest assured this will be perfection. Quick question; are we just sending Sean payment for hands anytime we want? Kind of forgot all about that lol.

Yes! Really love the attention Yunsil is paying to this outfit (like she does to all her outfits)...but the custom buttons was a nice touch and the "V" shaped silhouette she is giving the jacket is a great touch and movie accurate

Regarding hands, I would not send payment until Sean shows us something. I'm hoping he has some progress pics by end of April or sooner

Pajji can we get a close up of the buttons that Yunsil recommends - are they a stud or a stick on 2 hole button?

Also would it be easier to have the flap on the front on the jacket press stud or magnetically attach rather than have to put a number of very small buttons through a number of very small button hole?

Hey Laney!

I can definitely ask for a close up of the smaller button that she will be using. My theory is that these smaller buttons are a two hole button that will be sewn on.
Regarding the flap, I originally thought to have it stick on using magnets, but a great point was brought up that using that method would not achieve the wrinkles to the jacket we are trying to achieve. It would look too much like the Medicom 2.5 and not have a natural fit. Using the button method would get the jacket fitted and wrinkle the leather nicely

The buttons are studs, customs made for accuracy. A magnetic front flap would look terrible IMO, like a breastplate. It wouldn't have the bunches and folds, pulling at the button points like the 1:1 version. Check out the medicom version 2.5 for an example.

I honestly just want to thank everybody who has been a part of this project from start to almost completion. Everyone that has had an input to make everything perfect the tailors the metalwork to the 3D printing . Bravo to you all . Excited to see the finish.

Update - ok, got my own answer - so these were used as the top buckle - is fullmetal looking at making the lower buckle (even if not fully functional)?
