Pajji, I'm interested in the clothing set, could we get Yunsil to reproduce the medicom Jet pack harness in leather also?
I'd be prepared to donate my existing jacket and harness for reference if needed - its all flakey anyway and no use at present

For anyone interested in Full Metal jet pack and helmet, I have a guesstimate from Dave of $500+. I was hoping he could give definite price but that's what I got. I am definitely getting it; I figure I'm building this guy basically from scratch, might as well go for the gusto. His prices are high, but his quality is second to none. I don't have a time frame at the moment, and I hafta wait for a medicom helmet to come in around end of month from eBay seller to send out so he can use as reference. If anyone is seriously interested, PM me and I'll get a list for that going.

I will take various HD still images this weekend to focus on the costume, accessories, etc. PM me the email address to send them all over to! I would love to see a Rocketeer jacket with the right weight / wrinkles to it. The medicom jackets, especially the 2.5 jacket are too stiff and firm. Will the tailor use a material that will not degrade easily? It breaks my heart to see all these guys with rotten flaking jackets.

I bought that Rocketeer woman helmet off eBay. It looks like its the same as the Medi head. I am curious about mounting it on a generic male head. I will keep you guys posted on that. I will be able to compare it to the medicom head I have on hand.

I bought the other head after you did. It does look the medicom one so you would need a half head for it to fit properly if I'm not mistaken. I'm gonna send my head to Jon so he can use as reference and when he's done, obviously if someone needs it, I'll gladly hook it up. The v.1 and v.2 helmets seem exactly the same so I don't think it matters.
As for jacket, as long as whatever is used doesn't break down like the medicom ones, that's all that matters. If it has to real leather, so be it. It definitely has to last longer than the medis though. Those things broke down stupid fast from I understand.

Regarding your question about the harness...I want to keep cost down on this project since most folks dont even have a helmet or jetpack...I have a feeling the Jacket is going to have cost up...so I would say this would only include clothing set. But there's tons a talented leather makers like GUSTAVO and even GEE WHIZ just made rocket harness for a customer and posted a pic on facebook. Hopefully that helps...Im thinking about asking them myself.

So I know MarfMaster has his on a KUMIK SLIM and it looks great!...but I'm worried that the bulkiness of the Medicom Clothing is adding size overall to the slim body and if Yunsil does her custom fitting to a slim that the clothing will look tight and HS would look big on the body. Billy Campbell is 6'4" and seems to have broad shoulders but not overly muscular by any means....Anyone oppose to the TTM18 Narrow shoulder body?
So its between the TTM18 or the KUMIK SLIM

I think the TTM 18 shoulders are a little bigger than the Kumik Slim from the photos I just looked at. he is a pretty lanky guy . I am 6'4 with very broad shoulders. I think the TTM18 would work fine .

I'm all for using TTM 18 with some ankle pegs to jack the height up a bit. Save the Kumik body just ordered for something else down the road. Can never have too many body option

I'm all for using the TTM18 as well! The only reason I went with the Kumik slim is because it worked with the Medicom clothing, but that's a moot point here.
I did want to suggest however that we not send send Jon the Medicom helm to model his work after. The Medicom sculpt is nice, but the scale is still on the small side I think, and Jon should be looking at prop photos to create the most accurate version possible. That's why we all love his work, after all.

I agree with Marf on this one . I think Jon should look at the movie props for both the helmet and the jet pack to get the most accurate set. As well as us get our moneys worth as well.
